A little off topic - I still cannot believe that we are tied with Houston who is in the 5th seed. If we lose either or both of our remaining games, we can potentially be 3rd seed with a worse record than a 5th seed.
The WC is just too crazy this year. How are the Rockets playing this well with such a banged up team?

You can crack your jokes all you want, but i have been a Laker fan much longer then you and im a much bigger fan then majority of fans here. Im picky about every player.
Im 33 years old and my all time favorite player was Magic Johnson. I was picky about Magic in 1991. That season i was wondering why was he looking so slow. He had slowed down a lot, and it finally showed in the NBA Finals. No way can Scottt Pippen guard 1987 Magic 1 on 1. More energy and quicker. Especially the energy.
Im just a picky fan. In football and basketball. In football i have been a die hard Steelers fan since the Rod Woodson ( all time favorite player) Greg Lloyd, Carnell Lake, Kordell Stewart, Dwayne Woodruff, David Woodley, Cliff Stoudt, Calvin Sweeney days and im picky even when they have a big lead. When Ben Roethlisberger had 4 touchdowns and throws that one pick, i get picky. Nothing wrong with that
Jets fans are the same way. Watch the NFL draft and watch the Jets fans in the crowd. Its hilarious

Damn, Bryant has a near triple double -- and would have gotten it easily if we hadn't missed so many open 3s -- shoots an excellent percentage and plays balls-out D in the biggest game of the year and he's actually getting criticized.
I'm all for the concept of having no sacred cows, and holding everybody accountable, especially him. That's what he wants, and that's what he gets paid for. But seriously, what's wrong with some of you guys? Knock him when he deserves it, not when he plays fabulous in a huge game.
If we don't have him to attack the rim and make things happen in the last six minutes, we might have lost this game by 10.
Sucks that we blew such a big lead and played so sporadically in the last 28 minutes or so, but hey -- it sure as hell beats losing.

There's a huge difference between being picky and misanthropic.

He earned it back
Whats wrong with having a player as your MVP and him losing it temporarily and then earning it back.
I dont see anything wrong with that
You don't see anything wrong with that logic because you never went to college to understand why what you just said is utter lunacy.

And now BS tries to deflect the attention by stating how he is a bigger fan than everybody else. Classic B-Scott.

You know as well as anybody that I have no qualms getting on Kobe. But damn...definitely not tonight. He was virtually flawless. I actually thought he wasn't aggressive enough at times. But if I'm going to knock him for shooting too much, seems pretty hypocritical to complain when he takes what the defense gives him and sets up his teammates. If we made four more of the many wide-open 3s we had tonight -- shots we usually make in our sleep -- this isn't even a contest.

To be fair, Bryant's lack of D was pretty poor tonight, especially in the 4th when he sagged off Peja and he drained a few threes.
Albeit already in foul trouble and was helping out on the Paul penetration, he shouldve been closer up on the shooter.

Actually, I think almost all your posts on Kobe are fair, insightful, and well-supported...all except for your take on Kobe as a person. But you're entitled to those opinions too, regardless of what I believe or say.

shocked reading this from you.
if its not me or bscott criticizing kobe, its usually you.
Uhhhh you don't know what you are talking about. I criticize the team, not Kobe. If I am it is about certain shot selections, definitely not the same way you and B Scott knock on him. I am sure most ppl on this board will take my side.
