What?

He said Odom has been the best Laker the past three weeks.

I simply showed how statistics prove he is not the best Laker the past three weeks (with bryant being ahead of him).

I simply put Amare in there since we all know the man's been ridiculous recently, and having him as the #1 by this ranking system gives it a few legitimacy points.

Im not bringing Odom down at all.

Im bringing down his statement, which proves to be false.

you went by "stats" did u factor in blocks, rebounds and field goal %?

I guess stats only matter sometimes in this group.

If it makes everybody feel good remember back in the 2000 playoffs when the Shaq-Kobe Lakers didn't know how to close a series out and Phil said they must learn how to do it ? Well when they got it that's when the killer instinct came.

This team will learn it either the hard way by disappointment or until Kobe and Phil whip them into it.

Magic Johnson is my all time favorite player and like i said in another post,i though he looked slow in the 1991 regular season. Does that mean im not a Magic fan?

On April 6 1987 at 9 PM, i thought my boy Sugar Ray Leonard looked slow in the Marvin Hagler fight. Does that make me a Ray Leonard hater? Im going by the Ray Leonard of 1978-1982. His prime.

Saying Kobe has slowed down,is not being a hater. It also does not mean he can not be a great player or be the best player in the game. In 1996, did MJ have the quickness of 1993 MJ? Nope, but he made the necessary adjustments.

Again, Laker fans being sensitive like your some Michael Jackson fan after 50 kids accused him of molestation. It aint that serious.

I compliment and point out a negative. Its not 100% positve

What is it with you and the Michael Jackson analogies. Jeez, can you come up with something new, maybe O.J. or is that too easy?

However, Kobe played almost a perfect game. This is not the game to diss him yet you found ways to criticize him. If Kobe shoots 19 for 20, dishes out 15 assists, 10 rebounds and get 7 steals you will probably clown on him for that lone miss saying what a terrible shot it was and how he needs to learn to take a better shot.

that's absurd...

people here don't like being called kobe lovers for constant worshipping.

so don't see me as a "kobe hater" for constant criticism.

No, but I did.

And did you factor in play-making? Defense? Scoring?

I'm pretty sure that Kobe gets his without help from LO, whereas we all know that LO feeds off of others.

You seriously are off your rocker if you think LO's been the best player over the past 3 weeks.

I seen what you posted.

only thing that stands out is kobe 29pts, very expecting considering he shoots twice as much as anyone else.

I especially liked your piece about how you beat EHL in a one on one without him even knowing and without you knowing what he looked like. That's my favorite BS story. Any other stories?

What are you talking about? Make some sense here

On basketballforum.com EHL in a private PM came at me with curse words and challenged me in basketball. He said if you think you know so much about b-ball,why dont come down to where i live and play against me. He told me the place where to show up, the time, descrition and told me who to ask for since everyone knew him on that court. That particular time i couldn't make it, but i came another time when he didnt know i was coming. I asked who was so and so (His name) and some guys pointed him out. I was like keep it on the downlow,i dont want him to know who i am. I wanted to guard him without him knowing who i was just for fun. It was a simple 4 on 4 halfcourt and he got lit up. We won like 5 straight games.

This is why i kept saying YOUR TO SMALL. Get on the weights son

Because of that day. Grown man strength was to much for EHL

Not trying to back seat mod or anything but this dude could easily get some good poster suspended or banned with his baiting, which is something none of us would like in the end. A nice Laker fan, Jules Winnfield got banned after making great contributions to the MVP thread on the general board in a similar fashion.

How about no?

This is what both players did over the last 13...

Odom:
15.6 PTS (57% FG, 18% 3P, 74% FT), 12.2 REB, 5.5 AST, 1.1 STL, 1.5 BLK, 2.3 TO

Kobe:
29.2 PTS (45% FG, 40% 3P, 82% FT), 7.8 REB, 6 AST, 1.2 STL, 0.4 BLK, 1.8 TO

hmm...

kobe's 2nd in the last 3 weeks with those numbers?

I think lebron's numbers on the year is better than anything u listed besides ft and 3pt %.

where was lebron in the last 3 weeks?

Do I really need to point out to you that Kobe creates his own offense while LO depends on others to help him?

Kobe plays a far greater role in the offense, and he is the reason that LO will NEVER see a double-team. Without Kobe (and Gasol), LO is nothing to brag about, so stop trying to make it sound as if he's been this teams savior. He's picked up his game, but anyone with an IQ above 100 can figure out on their own who has been the better player.

I don't care what LeBron has done. He isn't a Laker, and he certainly isn't a threat to the Lakers this year or any other. He can put up whatever padded statistics he wants as long as his team keeps sucking.
