Stay Active on Perimeter Defense

Offense:
Image
Run the Offense and ATTACK THE BASKET
Make Duncan Work on Defense
Look for Fast-break opportunities (Prevent Spurs from setting Half-court defense)
Limit Turnovers
Limit 3pointers to under 20-25 (Don't just jack it up, take good quality shots)
Bench Must Take Advantage of Manu's injury
And most of all, avoid coming down on Bowen's Feet (we have enough injuries)

What's at Stake?

The #1 Seed, #2 Seed, Home Court Advantage, Avoiding the Suns in 1st round

Hopefully this is one of those games like the Sacto and Portland ones where Vlad is unconscious from downtown.

That can very well be the difference in this game.

And solid defense, of course.

I hope you mean unconscious in a way where he's making his shots and not the unconscious where he doesn't realize his shot isn't falling like yesterday 0-6 from 3's  :D

Oh crap something always go wrong when majority of the board gets cocky and say things like "We got this one." "Lakers win." I can't remmeber how many times we have been jinxed when guys are calling wins in a game that can go either way. \

Another thing, our role players almost always do well against bad teams or in garbage time such as the sac and Clippers game. But when the games matter like last night against the hornets, farmar was throwing up stupid shots, walton wasn't any help and Vlad Rad was chucking up bricks all night. Tomorrow is probably another one of those games.

Manu is under the Spurs training staff not Lakers so he'll probably play.

What we have to do to win:

Don't let Tony into the paint. That's where he does his work. Give him room and force him to shoot.
Take advantage of Oberto. Whoever he guards should score at least 20 points.
Go at Duncan on offense. If he guards Lamar then Lamar should just drive past him all game. If he guards Pau then Pau has to use his length to get shots off over him.
Rebound the ball. This is easier said than done. Pau should be able to box out Oberto quite easily.
Don't chuck up threes. That's how New Orleans got back in the game last night.
