Sessions, Voskuhl and Simmons played well in their respective minutes. Everybody else sucked ass.

Simmons and Sessions both looked good, everyone else looked poor. Bogut continues to receive the ball at an alarmingly low rate in the post, the guys been playing huge yet was waved off with good post position sooooo many times tonight. Let's hope to god Hammond chooses to get someone who can actually make a post entry pass. We suck, bring on the offseason.

This Bogut thing to end the season is troubling.....this is the time when in 2005 Gadz went off for 20/20 games during the period where he'd get 40mpg in essentially exhibition matches.

I'm not sure why Bogut can't do the same here.....

I think it would be wise of Hammond to get a player that can actually push Bogut. Not much motivation to bring it every night when you know that the alternatives are Ruffin, Gadzuric, and Voskhul. A starting caliber backup center (that can defend), imo, is this team's greatest need.

Why? Bogut's propensity for taking games off. Bogut's looming contract negotiations. Ramon Sessions is a starting caliber point guard already. Small forwards come a dime a dozen (for most teams). A starting caliber backup center would allow Bogut to get some backup minutes at power foward behind Yi.

I'm not very basketball savy and sometimes very senile. can somebody refresh my memory as to what great qualities bogut has that make him such a great player and foundation piece that we want to build our future around?

This old guy thinks Lopez will abuse bogut as a rookie next year. Can somebody enlighten me as to wha t center in the NBA Bogut is actually better than? or the ones that he consistantly owns?

I recall in Shaq's younger days when he was good there were man y centers he basically owned and could anything he wanted to against. Does bogut own anybody? Does Bogut even own Noah?

it gets disheartening when bogut has very bad days against some of the worst centers in the league. The Bogut of tonight's game is not the bogut i want to keep and build a team around.

is it bogut? the coach? the team? or just the idea that they know they must tank the rest of their games? redd seems to know how to tank. when are the bucks going to learn from their mistakes and start tanking at the begining of the year rather than around the all star break?

A- a coach that will demand everyone tries hard every night
B- a winning atmosphere that will encourage him to try hard
C- the ball
D- all of the above

If Kevin Love measures out at 6-10 or taller perhaps he'd have to be considered. I'd consider him anyway based on the fact he can flat-out play the game but if he measures out at legit center height maybe that makes him more appealing.

That said, I think PG remains the team's biggest area of need. As impressed as I have been with Sessions I think you need to see if you can get someone even better. SF should be easy to address and hopefully Hammond can fare better than Harris did in that regard. Also, this isn't a draft rich with strong SF prospects for the lottery anyway.

If the Bucks can't draft Rose I've been an advocate of trading down and getting multiple picks. Perhaps one of those picks could be spent on Love if he slips. Or you could take a real flyer on Jordan but he's a huge gamble given how raw he is.

Rose or Bayless would be my top 2 picks for this team. However, I doubt if we'll have a shot at them. I wouldn't take any other pg in this draft over a top tier backup center for this team.

I'd take Love at #7 without hesitation. Like you, I'd shy away if he wasn't a legit 6-10.

I think the Nets have a long road ahead. I love Devin Harris' game. Always have. But I think the Nets need to move Carter this summer. Finding a taker won't be easy, but I'd build around a Harris-Jefferson duo and add the right pieces there. I like Diop but more as a backup and not a starter. The Nets lack strength inside and if they trade Carter, they'll lack another go-to scorer to team with Jefferson. I just think that the Nets could struggle for a few years post-Kidd the way they struggled before Kidd arrived.
