non-basketball related thoughts from the Nets game (4/12)

First off, got a chance to shake hands and exchange a few words with John Hammond before the game. I just said "welcome to Milwaukee and do good things please." He just said that's what we're going to try and do. Another interesting thing on the way home listening to Ted and Dennis, they were pretty much saying that this team needs to be blown up and rebuilt. Obviously this isn't news to us, but it was just interesting to hear "company guys" saying it. Ted also mentioned that is almost a certainty that Larry K will get the ax, again not shocking news, just interesting to hear it from Davis.

* Decent crowd, a lot of little kids, a lot of people for the Sid bobbleheads.

* Streetlife was there for the first time in awhile and they were...well, yeah.

* Bell, CV, Mo, Ruffin all suited up nicely -- no Yi.

* Lawrence Frank has some obsession with calling timeouts every time his team gives up more than two consecutive baskets.

* Gave away a trip to a season ticket holder for the Draft in NY and you got a bunch of other stuff with it (wasn't me )

* They had a random season ticket holder get introduced in the starting lineup and he got to jump around in the little pre-game circle dance..pretty dumb.

That's all I got -- another mediocre night for a less than mediocre team. It was pretty obvious that everyone has pretty much packed it in besides Sessions and the scrubs. Even Bogut is just going through the motions out there. Oh well, it can't get worse than this season.
