Portland is notorious for giving the game away in the 3rd quarter. If I was ever going to comment on a possible win, it would be after the 3rd quarter. Farzi hasn't learned yet.

If lakers and NOH both win the next two NOH gets the 1st place?
After respective records, head to head, I think it comes down to conference record and the Lakers have the best conference record in the West so they should get #1 seed.....
I'm so tired of the typical......

Lakers losing to the Grizzlies and Bobcats.
Hornets lose to the Kings.
Jazz find a way to lose to the Heat and Wolves. Same for the Suns.
The West does not know how to win "easy" games anymore in cruxial close situations.
For the first time in 16 years...no West team has won more than 57 games.
Houston Rockets w/o yao are a 40 wins team in any Western Conference other than this one. to grab 55 wins shows how focus has left the building.
west sucks!
I wouldnt be surprised for a Jazz/Warriors finals the way its going. and winner swept by boston, cleveland or detroit.

Even when the Nugs took a 1 point lead in the 3rd you could just see that they were going to get destroyed. Other than Iverson, they might be the most mentally weak team in the NBA (led by the extremely mentally weak Carmelo Anthony. The guy absolutely crumbles when the refs don't blow whistles). Unfortunately for them, mental toughness is at a premium in the playoffs.

What a fun win by Sac
Almost let it go, too, but still got it done just enough
Really though Peja was going to hit another big-time shot
Ron Artest just played fantastic on both ends of the floor, really getting going offensively later in the 3rd qtr, and putting the two-way game up another level in the 4th. Salmons and Garcia (his good side of the game) were also big. Salmons with 18 pts and 11 rebounds. Spencer Hawes had another impressive game, he's really come along well on the season, and has done well in getting more minutes recently. Shelden Williams had a solid game also.
Kings really defended Chris Paul well all game long, on the pick and roll, getting the ball out of his hands. Definitely contained him.
I really thought the Hornets would just bascially control that game and win. Coming off that emotional, key Laker game. Fine by me

Finally someone else other than me (and a few others probably) points out Denver's mental emotional toughness issues.
Historically, they've let calls get to them too much. Can't really do that in general, let alone in the playoffs. You can't quite control what the refs are going to call.
Just talk to the ref about it a bit, and move on to the next possession - that's what is most imporant.
They lead the league in technical fouls this season.

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

You didn't think letting the Jazz handle your asses in New Orleans was a bad loss?
What a choke job.
The Hornets better hope both San Antonio and Houston lose tomorrow otherwise they went from first to hoping not to be in the 4/5 match up in 2 nights.
Ridiculous.
