i got home and saw the last quarter and a half and thought our defense wasnt great for the last half of the 3rd, i think the pace just slowed down in the 4th but they were cooling off

i hated the rotation avery had in the 4th, there was no reason for damp to play as little as he did, especially when he had 11 points. anyone else worried about the stupid double team avery keeps doing at the end of games, any half decent passer that doesnt panic can get his team an easy layup.

eddie jones played a very good game tonight and is really making a case to be in the rotation for the playoffs

i dont know why but i thought we were going to lose tonight before it started, but it was nice to see them almost comeback but they couldnt stop them. i almost wouldve wanted to give dirk a game off but i doubt that'll happen. i thought part of the problem was in the 4th quarter when we were going for offensive rebounds our guys were bumping each other or mistiming there jumps when they had position to get the rebounds, couldve led to a couple easy buckets on missed possessions.

My feelings EXACTLY.

In fact, I was going to write about Avery's plan of continually trapping guys at halfcourt

Lakers game: trap Kobe, result= easy wide open layups for Gasol and Odom

Tonights game: trap Roy, result= George late in closing out on Outlaw

I really question this strategy late in games. And Damp's limited role late in games.

I am in agreement that Eddie Jones may have supplanted Antoine Wright totally for the playoffs.
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...
