^I'd rather we get Noah...

Everyone can talk about how he's loud and a big mouth, but all this guy cares about is winning and he gives it all every night... his play shows and he earns his teammates respect by playing hard every night.

I think so far in his rookie year, he has provided more defensive presence than Ben Wallace could in his stint there.

---

Noah + Duhon would probably be a better package than Hinrich + a tall Bull... although I believe Hinrich will rebound from a bad year next season.

Duhon's a free agent this year... Duhon's not better than Hinrich. He's had a terrible year, same with Gordon, and Deng...but they aren't all terrible players for one bad year...you can blame that on all the constant trade talk...last year for Gasol...this year for Kobe...then anyone else...

So how about
Hinrich, D. Gooden, and Noah for AI, Klieza, and a #1 this year.

Don't really want to trade AI...but the Melo/AI thing just hasn't worked. I love AI's passion and heart, but I don't see how we can get the pieces to put around AI/Melo that would make this a better team. There isn't a 6'5" pure PG and Karl feels he must have a PG.

Anyways...then you'd have
Hinrich
JR
Melo
K-mart
Nene or Noah

Yes, I will find a trade for Camby to somewhere??? LOL

AI fans...I am not dissing AI...I love him and would like nothing better to keep him and find a way to make this work, but I just can't see it. Maybe some of you have some ideas? maybe if they just let JR start and have AI at the point...but Karl seems very relucant...yes, I know the coach is part of the issue...but I just don't seem him getting fired...being boys with Kroenke and all.

you wanna know why karl is reluctant to put AI at the point?

tonight vs utah: 38 min, 2 ast

he is as inconsistent a playmaker as they get. I have been on multiple boards and have discussed this with multiple AI homers. the conclusion they have reached is that "AI's assists are low in some games because his teammates aren't making shots." I have studied AI's game hard the last two months...and the reason for this is AI's dishing off of his penetration is severly limited. he simply doesn't look for his bigs (especially carmelo) after drawing an extra defender. most of his assists come from penetrating and tossing it to open perimeter shooters (najera, klieza, smith).

you wanna know why parts of this season the team has gone on runs with melo on the bench? when melo leaves the court...the nuggets lose nothing defensively...while on the offensive end iverson is surrounded by three capable perimeter shooters, on which he boosts his assist average and our offense thrives.

the point of the matter is that iverson does not look for bread-and-butter passes...whether they be simple lobs to k-mart and melo in the paint for easy assists...or simple feeds off of the pick-and-roll. too many times I see AI creating a shot for camby or carter...when the people he should be looking for (k-mart and melo) are TWO OF THE BEST FINISHERS IN THE LEAGUE? seriously...how hard is it to just throw it up in anywhere near k-mart and let him grab the ball out of the air and jam it in? why is it that camby is our only player who lobs alley-oop passes to k-mart and melo? why is it that smith is the only nugget who can find the open big off of penetration?

iverson is severley limited and can't play PG. PERIOD.

I knew I shouldn't have posted....I figured you would totally misconstrue the post.

I disagree with Archi... I think if a team wants to be successful with AI...they are going to have to have a 2 guard that can handle the ball and
hit the outside shot. There is no way you can win in this league having a backcourt of 6-3 (if that) and a 6-0 sg... there is just too many athletic 2 guards that can rise over the 6-3 pg and make shots.... there aren't any 6'5" pg's anymore..ok maybe one or 2 somewhere.

The Nuggets are a better team with AI, Melo, JR, Najera, and a good K-mart on the floor. They have been awful with AC, AI, Melo, K-mart, and Camby
