Who is this Ramon Sessions kid?

Post#1 » by manun » Sun Apr 13, 2008 7:59 am

Wow this kid is looking great. In 23 minutes hes posting 6 assists with only 2 turn overs. In his last 8 games hes posting 9 assists per game, and as a starter 10,8 assists. Looks like bucks got themselves a good steal in the 2nd round. They might as well get rid of mo williams seeing how session actually doesnt kill the ball movement.
They have a nice young core and if they can trade away Mo for a pick and get a decent coach they could become lethal.

Bogut
Yi / CV (one of them will probably pan out)
Draft pick
Redd / Draft pick (of Mo)
Session

Thats a pretty nice team if bogut becomes the 18/10 man he looks like he will become, Yi starts to grow some balls and CV learns to defend a chair, Session becomes a better shooter.

Ron ron on how commited he is to the team.
If he tells me to jump off the building, I'll jump off the building.

Last part of the year could be tricky since most teams arent playing 100% effort.. but he's looked pretty good from like the 1-2 games I seen him.. has to shoot it a little better tho

This guy is a baller. He's a rookie getting some PT cuz mo williams is out with injury and he's making the most of his opportunity. He's playing like 44-48 minutes a night and putting up some really solid stats.

He also hit the gamewinner against washington so he's clutch too. The only thing he's not that good at yet is shooting but i think he'll improve with time.

Other than that, just a really solid pg prospect, and might put me over the top in my fantasy league lol

Sessions is gonna make some teams look stupid very soon for not drafting him. He has the potential to be a starting-caliber PG and the Bucks got lucky he fell to them.

Definitely needs to improve his jump shot and add range to it though. You don

Bucks can be a dangerous team IF they can move Mo/Redd for some good picks/players.

It's amazing how good the Bucks are at replacing players.

Ray Allen - Michael Redd
Sam Cassell - Mo Williams
Mo Williams - Ramon Sessions?

Not bad.

The guy's stats looks amazing, but his shooting %s are terrible. How are his mechanics and what not?

His J will come. He won't ever be a huge shooter but he should definitely be able to get it to be a serviceable tool.

Yup. He shot 46% in the d-league this year, 33% from 3. He just has to get used to the bigger and more athletic defenders in the NBA.

Ramon Sessions would be the second worst player on the Nets. That's who he is.

He's better than Marcus Williams...

Sessions might be the best player on MIL right now... dude has vision. He and Bogut are the keepers in MIL.

He wouldn't get any minutes on the Bucks without all the injuries .

Don't know how serious these season ending games can be taken if they can be taken if they can be taken serious at all.

We'll see if he's an NBA player next season but the rest of this season ? Not really .

I mean even Mo Ager looked like a real NBA player yesterday and thats very hard to accomplish ...

Sessions is looking like a major steal. He goes to the d-league, comes back, and starts hitting game winners and posting consistent double digit assists.

He looks real good with the minutes he's been getting. Seems like he has excellent court-vision. Don't know how much significance it is considering how late it is in the season and nothing really to play for, but he obviously has skills and looks to be a steal in the second round.

I could see starter material in him though. He's had 4 double digit assist games in the last 5 and has actually been rebounding the ball well too Shooting looks shaky, but I think that'll come.
