Is Mayo there at #6? If not then no... This draft, at least so far, is very hard to figure out. There are many similar caliber players throughout the draft.

Even if Mayo was available I think the Nets would at least want to keep their 2nd rounder.

Lol if Mayo was still there we wouldn't be offering it.
If lee is worth #12 then Ron is EASILY worth #5. Sooo...how about:
Malik Rose/#5 for Ron Artest.

First off, we're locked to have the #10 as the worst possible pick we can get. Second, that's too much to give up IMO considering the talent drop-off after the top 5. You can basically get the same talent level from #6 to #10 so I say no.

^ No you can't.

Danilo Gallinari won't last to 10. Either will 1 of Javale McGee and Deandre Jordan, and possibly Eric Gordon, Kevin Love, and Anthony Randolph...

I do not want us to draft Anthony Randolph.
This kid is gonna be years away from being an impact player in the league. Now I would love to build for the future, and there is a good chance this kid is gonna be great in 3-5 years, but........
We have this guy Opie as our head coach right now, and he seems to severely hinder most young players confidence and growth, and doesn't really like to play them much.
So, you know what I would see happening with this kid?
Tyson Chandler, JO, JR Smith, etc., etc.
He won't blossom until he is traded and gets some playing time and freedom away from the situation he is in.

I would definitely consider a #10 & #21 for #6 deal if Gordon is on the board at the Knicks pick. What would the Knicks be looking for at #10? Augustin, a swingman, or one of the bigs with potential? Because I think Marcus Williams would fit well on the Knicks if they don't draft a PG high. Would a deal of #10, Marcus, and #40 be of more interest?

Not interested in Marcus Williams or giving the nets a top 6 pick. I don't want you guys to have a possible franchise player when we will be competing against you guys in the Lebron sweepstakes in 2010.

If Gordon or Mayo are still on board at 6, I say we do this trade.
We won't have roster space for 3 rookies anyway.

we already have enough young knuckleheads on the squad, if we do bring another one on, he better be pretty good from the perimeter
