We won because our our team defense with the lineup of Beno/Cisco/Salmons/Artest/Moore. So yes, they were completely integral parts to our win.
Winning is worth while because it maintains a positive attitude about the franchise. Spencer will get plenty of late game experience when he earns it--and he's not too far away from earning it. But like I said, if Spencer goes in for Mikki in the middle of the 4th, there is no crunch time to speak of.
Exactly, I never heard of people not wanting to win!!!!

Maybe you say to yourself it wouldn't be so bad if we loss because of the draft pick but you never get mad if you do win. Besides where the Kings are winning is going to matter much anyway.
About the Lakers.....Did the Kings really help them? I mean in the West I don't know if it really matters if you're #1. You could be out in the 1st or 2nd round anyway. And really do you think the Kings' players are thinking "Uh oh, if we win this guys we will be helping the Lakers"?
And as far as the Blazers what would picking 1 pick higher do? Right now there rebuilding is basically complete, they just need experience. Maybe they could use a PG but they would be basically drafting for depth. I wouldn't be surprised if they traded the pick myself.
Ever heard of a player learning from watching what a veteran player does in situations like the end of the game? When those veteran big guys finish that game both Williams & Hawes should have been grilling Moore & Artest just too learn about the defensive rotations at the end of the game.
You don't just learn from playing you learn from sitting as well. Don't worry Hawes' and Williams' time will come!
