Wow; Dallas just lost to Seattle and Portland back-to-back.
This just after beating Phoenix and Utah.
The playoffs are going to be crazy; I think it's fair to say Boston or Detroit is going to win the East.
But who knows who will win the West?
This is going to be amazing!

I'm not overly afraid of the Spurs right now and since it looks like we're facing them in the first round this could be the best thing for our team next to playing Houston. You're probably thinking "why would you want to face the spurs, you're crazy man!" Everyone watching the Suns play this season has seen how freaking inconsistent we have been when it comes to bringing intensity and playing with heart every game. If we play the Spurs, do you think our players have forgotten about what happened last season? I'm thinking that they'll be pretty damn pissed off come playoff time when we face the team that has knocked us out twice in a row with all the "what if" stories surrounding them once again. I think the Spurs are the ONLY team in the league that I know our team will play against with fire and energy game in and game out. Everyone on the Suns team is painfully aware of how dangerous the Spurs are and if we were to face and eliminate them in the first round our confidence would be sky high.
I like the match up a hell of a lot more with Shaq because he can, for the most part, contain Duncan and when he and Amare are both in the game there's no way they can stop both of them. I'm not sure there's any player or team that can stop Amare on offense the way he's been playing after the trade. I almost want to face the Spurs in the first round, because chances are we will have to face them if we advance, so why get our hopes up only to lose to them (again) in the later rounds.

............ I think what some are forgetting is that come playoff time, they Spurs are going to have the rest of their arsenal back.......... Barry, Horry, and Ginobili .........as bad as they've looked for the past week or so, I'm not hanging my hat on those kinds of performances again from them in the playoffs.

The Spurs are gonna be tough, but so are gonna be all other teams. So i'm going to agree with all the people who want them for "confidence purposes".
I see this as the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry. Back in 2004 the Yanks had the upper hand, when the Sox finally beat them, they won it all and they won it again this year. It was like they finally faced their "demon" and freed themselves.
If we beat the Spurs this team will be very confident and it will be very hard to beat us once our "demon" is gone.
Of couse there is the risk of losing against them, but do you really think a series against the Rockets would be easy, without homecourt? I doubt it. So better face the Spurs right away.

Hopefully we get the Rox in the 1st round. If not then the Spurs (never thought i'd actually be sayin that at the start of the season)
Chokers wuda been the ideal first round opponments, but we didn't get the job done when we still had our chances at nabbing the 2nd seed.
Hope the Mavs can somehow make into the 2nd round, and wait a lil longer to get their butts whipped this time.
I actually rather play the Lakers later on with a healthy Bynum since Shaq mathes up against him much better then he does against Gasol.
