Have a little patience my friend. :D

I know it is probably impossible, but if we could find a way to move Daniels and keep Mason...

Yeah, I know. Not. Gonna. Happen. I'll enjoy Mason in our uniform while it lasts.

Thanks, Philly.

Back from the game. Ma$on was money tonight for sure.
Not sure what N1 did to get in the doghouse (sometimes you
miss things in person, some times you miss things on TV).
He had been having a pretty nice game. It would be really
nice to keep Mason. He deserves to get paid though. In order
for us to keep him, he'd have to give us the home town discount.
Plus, his minutes won't be there next year with a presumably healthy
Gil.

I liked DMac tonight. Yeah he needs a better stroke from the FT line
but the rest of his game (other than shooting generally) is so
there, handles, hops and attitude. Give him a shot and you'll
really have something special.

That's great and all, but it also gave the Cavs a lot of momentum and unity - two things they were sorely lacking before this game.

actually this is exactly analogous to the GS game last year here
that we won. They called a foul on Gil right at the buzzer. They
reviewed the timing and awarded Gil 2 FTs. Nellie went bizerk
and got a T and Gil sank all 3 for the win.

Only difference was Gil didn't travel before the foul.

OT warning

why for one night?

if you don't like what happens here, start electing better people!
We gotta accept what gets sent our way. DC doesn't vote for these
chumps/crooks. The rest of the country does.

You're preaching to the choir about Bush (9 out of every 10 votes in DC was against him), but how can you hate the Nationals? This is only their fourth season in business. For the most part, they've just padded everyone else's winning percentage.

Hey guys, thanks for helping out the Hawks tonight. We really needed to rest our starters as much as possible.

Was it just me or did your sideline reporter get drilled in the face with a ball tonight? That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I'll be pulling for ya'll against the Cavs.

I was at the game and clearly saw what landed NY in the doghouse. Nick Young was in the doghouse because there were two plays where he had the ball with the shot clock expiring, he dribbled the ball until there was only one second left, and then he passed the ball instead of shooting. He basically wound down the shot clock on his own and then left his teammate zero time to get up a shot. After the second time it happened, Jordan was screaming at Young as he walked to the bench, "that was 2 times!!!". Young must have gotten the message he wasn't coming back into the game because he immediately started removing tape on his leg.

Thanks. I was sitting diagonally across the arena from the Wiz
bench and completely missed that.

so the Young man has to learn to either pass sooner OR just shoot
the darn ball himself.

Young has to learn that the offense doesn't revolve around him. He doesn't share the ball nearly enough and to make things worse, he rushes shots without having teammates in position to get the rebound.

EJ has to break a lot of Young's bad tendencies. I like the idea of cutting his minutes. Seeing his mate Dmac get some good run last night while he's watching from the bench may just accelerate Young's growth process.

Yeah, that was pretty funny.

But not as funny when the Buckhantz came back from a break in the 1st half and called the opposing team the "Indiana Pissers". He immediately corrected himself and said "Pacers", but then there was dead silence as you know Phil and Buck were having a good laugh. Buck comes back on with a little chuckle in his voice and says, that team again is the "Indiana Pacers".

Return to Washington Wizards
