From a realist Bucks fan I can say Sessions is very impressive for what he is....
#56 pick thats contributing making an 8 mil per PG look bad.
Thats about the jist of it. Anytime you get anything out of someone 56 or later you have to be excited. I think his ceiling is a Eric Snow type of career but thats nothign to be ashamed of. He brings outstanding courtvision to the table with a willingness to improve. He may end up being a tad better and starting at some point but why hate on the kid.
He was great tonight and respect that. He set all time records against Hinrich, Duhon and Gordon as a 2nd round rookie...
Give the kid his just due...
Time will tell on his career but he certainly has a future in the league....

I don't think Mo will be with the Bucks next season. Based on the comments from John Hammond, Mo's game is 180 degrees removed from the type of PG play Hammond wants.
I can't see why they'd get rid of Mo, but even if they do someone's gotta replace him. The bucks might luck out and get Rose in the draft, but otherwise I think Mo stays put. Either way, Sessions will be a good backup for SOMEBODY next year.

I'll be interested to see how he does when anyone actually cares. While Roman Sessions has been declared a RealGM up-and-coming all-star, the Celtics didn't play any of their big 3, the entire Miami Heat team is made up of D-leaguers, the Knicks are suddenly looking competitive, and the Bulls just scored over 150 points. This doesn't seem like a time which grants much merit.

Flip Murray is a 6 year vet with a career-high assist total of 12, which he's done twice. Meanwhile Sessions has already had 24, 14, and 13 assist games in a 16 game career. Flip is also a scorer in a PG body, while Sessions is a true PG in a PG body. He will be a better pro than Flip. I'm not saying he's going to be an all-star or anything, but if he can straighten out his jumper I'd say his ceiling is about at Calderon's level.

Can we take any of your arguments seriously with that Jason Collins sig? Talk about downplaying one possibly up and coming player and revering a dirty playing, elbow throwing scrub.

so if a player racked up 60 points (scoring equivalent to 24 assists imo) even at the tail end of the season, you wouldn't be impressed? it takes a helluva game to get 24 assists.
it's impressive regardless of the negative spin you take. it doesn't make him a hall of famer, it doesn't make him an all-star. it does however make it one helluva game. accept it.
