Entourages in the NBA

Post#1 » by breaker91 » Tue Apr 15, 2008 4:17 am

Wall Street Journal did a great story on pro athletes and their entourages. Who new Ron Artest pays someone to go on late organic cookie runs and Bibby has someone on his payroll to take orders from his mom.

"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

Nice article. 200 people is a fairly large entourage I would say.

I was in the Kobe Bryant Entourage until last month, I stopped attending it because I didn't approve of the way Kobe was conducting himself. But I'm still on the Britney Spears Entourage.

Diamond. Mr. Artest's personal assistant, who grew up with him in the projects but is paid by Mr. Artest's management company, fields late-night requests for organic cookies, is developing Mr. Artest's line of athletic wear and was asked recently to remove what Mr. Artest thought were giant snake eggs in his backyard. They turned out to be mushrooms.

"Carmelo Anthony, the 23-year-old small forward for the Denver Nuggets, has a flowchart and presides over biannual meetings of the 10 members of "Team Melo."

A driver (Sober) needs to be included in "Team Melo."

nice read...even though i am of the belief that no matter what your job title is or how "important" you are to a "company" if you are out snagging cookies at 1am or shuttling your bosses kids around, you are most likely a lackey...

which is cool 50k and all types of luxuries, cant beat that...
