I was impressed by his physical talent on that play.
More reason for optimism.

To add to this, I was at the Bulls game and Ramon took the ball in front of me and turned the corner on the Bulls and blew to the basket for a 2 handed dunk in the half court offense. I'm certain I will never see Mo do that.

Both Sessions and Mo probably shoot a bit too much for my liking, but I will say this about the PG position.
I think its good that a PG can score. The threat of scoring is important, but not at the expense of the team. Sessions from what I have seen makes players around him better. Mo does not. Sessions seems to already have a better feel for running the team and he's only been doing it for a few weeks.

Gee that 24 assists brought back memories of when Tinsley had 23 assists against Washington as a rookie. I really thought he had something, but a mixture of an ugly shot, fitness, injuries and probably a bad attitude have robbed Tinsley of anything like the career he looked like having.
I rate this performance obviously far less than Tinsley's, which occurred far earlier in a season still alive against a team with an aging yet still effective Jordan and Hamilton.
Yet there are similarities to Tinsley's and Sessions overall game which both intrigue and worry me. There ability to put up large assist numbers while being with a team for short period of time, there size for the point, there ugly shots and there reps as good defenders, when really being unexplainably bad defenders.
I think Sessions has proved that he can compete in this league, but coaching and self attitude are keys for him in the next 12 months.

The big differences between Tinsley and Sessions, are attitude and injuries. Granted, I've read that Tinsley was trying to change for the better in the attitude department this season, but the guy just can't stay healthy. He misses so much time every season.
From every piece of video and everything I've read about Sessions, he just seems incredibly good natured. I might be wrong, but I don't think Sessions missed any games in college, and besides that broken hand suffered during the first callup, has been pretty hardy.
The Pacer to compare Sessions to, is Mark Jackson.

I think that is jumping the gun somewhat. I mean we can hope, sure but at this point Tinsley is the better comparison.
To earn Jackson type comparisons his defense would have to improve drastically for one.

Oh it will. I guarantee it.

I have never seen Sessions play, so I can't judge or make a comparison with Mo, but I see some nice numbers by Ramon, even if he has never played in a real game (a game in which both teams play to win...)
Mo 0.456 assists per shot attempt
Sessions 1.130 assists per shot attempt
(Chris Paul 0.713 assists per shot attempt)
Mo 0.950 assists per basket made
Sessions 2.825 assists per basket made
(Chris Paul 1.471 assists per basket made)
NOTE: I have calculated this numbers also for CP3 to make a comparison with the game's best PG; obviously Mo has played 6 times the minutes Ramon played while Paul played 7 times his minutes, so it is more difficult to have good numbers.
