all this talk about the warriors championship hopes are beside the point.
the warriors will finish the season just a shade under .600 and will be heading to the lottery despite that.
i can't imagine warriors fans being all that thrilled with the fact that their season is over while a team that will finish the season with less than 40 wins is still playing.
otoh, i guess the prospect of getting a top 10 pick will probably soothe the sting of missing a first round matchup with the lakers.
