I know this isn't meant to be taken too seriously, but Sean Elliott should be somewhere down in Heinsohn territory. Ten minutes of listening to him and I'm usually ready to strangle a small child.

That's how he's charted, knowledgeable but unobjective. I wouldn't necessarily agree about the latter -- he always seems pretty fair to me -- but I do remember thinking he was quite the homer when he used to do Spurs games. He's improved a ton in that regard.

Mike Rice should be sent to guantanamo bay for everyone's safety.

All I know is the Blazers announcers need both arms broke, absolutely the worst in the league today. Heinsohn got nothing on those morons.

My favorite part:

Farmar drives into the lane and gets his lay up blocked into the front row by Aldridge.

This Blazer announcer says "Come back next season if you need more, coz we have a guy called Greg Oden!"

I'm like WTF and its probably a fair thing that Oden had to miss the entire season just for saving us from these morons.

and he never ever mentions that we are missing both our centers that game and Channing Frye of all people wouldn't be talking so much if he played Bynum or Pau on the floor.

Pretty unfair for Joel. He may be homerish, but his intentions or comments are never malicious.

He's happy when things go well for us, but he almost never harbors ill-will towards the opposing team, players, or coach. Always respectful. Always admiring.

Always classy.

Can't say that about the other announcers, however homeistic or objective they may be.

That's dumb it says Joel has more knowledge than Stu. The X axis is correct but the Y axis is completely wrong.

Probably would be true in terms of being articulate, but I do find that Stu's knowledge is superior to Joel's.

Probably unfairly penalized due to his stuttering, diction, and fanciful tales.

I would not give this chart too much weight. it got a lot of announcers wrong. especially the Celtics, blazers, Kings, Lakers.
