Is The East Only Boston & Detroit?
Lets face it, thats what the media always says. Does any other team have a chance of coming out the East? If so then who? Do you give anyone a "strong" chance? Could Lebron do it again, could a healthy Wiz team pull it off, could a overlooked Magic team do it, or is it just really only 2 teams that can win the East?

Cleveland is very much an unknown quantity going into the playoffs: they could flame out in the first round if the supporting cast plays poorly, or they could give Detroit everything they can handle in the semi-finals.
However, other than Detroit and Boston, they are the only team which I would give even the slightest chance of making the Finals...solely because of LeBron, they have a chance, albeit a minuscule one. Orlando and Washington are very good, but I can't see either of those teams winning back-to-back rounds against the Pistons and Celtics without homecourt advantage.

**** your asterisk.

Can't count out Washington, they're finally healthy and very explosive, not to mention they seem to have Boston's number this season (take it for what it's worth) and like last year if the Cavs role players step up even a little bit, LeBron's good enough to win a game by himself. Orlando has gone under the radar as well.
Boston and Detroit are probably the best teams but they most definitely could get upset.

-You cant count out the Cavs for two reasons, they are the defending Eastern Champs and have the best player in the conference in LeBron James.
-You cant count out the Magic because when they are connecting on three's, that is hard to stop. However if they are missing them then its hard to win that way.
Wizards have to many problems with health and I dont like the build of the team, its not built to win in the playoffs. 76ers, Raptors and Hawks are all to young and inexperienced.

Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

I'm surprised people aren't talking about the fact that the Magic's road record helps in the playoffs. They've shown this season that they can win on the road, heck they win more on the road than they do at home. So home court advantage isn't as big a deal for Orlando (it's still huge, but not as important as some others).
I think Orlando could get through Boston or Detroit, not sure they could get through BOTH. But you never know. Hey if the Giants can beat the Pats, you can't count out anyone.

Have you given us any legit reason not to think our real season won't start until the conference finals?
And don't worry, if Orlando, by some miracle, beats the Pistons, I will have no problem congratulating all of the Magic fans and wishing them luck in the conference finals, but until that happens, other then my respect for Dwight Howard, I really don't have any reason not to think Detroit has the easiest ride to the conference finals.

Ehh just wait and see. Theres is no point in arguing with fans that believe their team is unbeatable.

^^ Obviously my team is beatable lol, or else the Cavs and Heat wouldn't be able to hold their heads over us. I'm just saying, all year, the Magic have been begging for respect, and thats not earned until the playoffs, so when you earn it, I have no problem giving it to you. And obviously there are exceptions, like Boston and New Orleans, but I haven't seen anything from the Magic to say, I think they can win the title. They live and die by the three, and that strategy never, ever works in the playoffs.

But of course, that was one game...
Winning 4 out of 7 is a different story

Like I said, let's just wait and see. No use arguing with homer fans.
