New Moderators (1 New, 2 Returns)

Post#1 » by Howard Mass » Wed Apr 16, 2008 5:58 am

I would like to announce the return of two great retired moderators and a new moderator for this forum.

With the playoffs starting this week against a tough opponent in the Toronto Raptors and tensions will be high on both forums.

So, I decided it would be a good idea to some reinforcements to help out.

Two of the best moderators this forum has ever had ORL and TheGlyde have agreed to return for the playoffs. It is great to have these two legendary moderators back with us for this special time of the season.

We also have a new addition to the Magic moderatoring team is current General NBA moderator and former professional overseas basketball player Ron Murray (aka theTHIEF).

His addition will give this forum a moderator with a player
R.I.P. Dharam Raghubir (A.K.A. Magnumt)

Moderators: stick, ORL, devin3807, theTHIEF, SS_MagicMark, LiteHedded, TheGlyde, damo[23]

8 mods

I hope it's enough, and that the Raps board has done the same.

Bold signings by the RealGM board. Obviously, you want toughness and size to play the slower games that the playoffs generally bring, we'll see if this risky venture pays off.

Good luck, gents.

Haha, yep. I'm actually not too fond of the term "ring chaser" and the negative connotations behind it. If a player is still good enough to help an elite team win, yet not good enough to lead his old team anymore, then I think it's fine to go enjoy your short time left in the league and try to help a team win a championship.

That's why personally I had little problem with Grant Hill leaving this past offseason. Obviously, neither him nor us really expected the Magic to be in the position they're currently in this quickly.

Great pickups by Howard Mass there. Thief will bring toughness and ORL & Glyde bring veteran savvy for this exciting playoff run. With the need for a deep, experienced bench always prevalent in the tough post-season, those Raps won't know what's hit them. Let's go Magic!
