yeah i agree, but the thing is... there is a time and place. he is holding his hand up after foolish threes in the 2nd quarter. and shaking his head after swatting a PASS. a freaking PASS. he made a smug face for 30 seconds after that play.

not to mention that his team is going to win what?... 3 more games than the sixers? and he is the greatest player in the universe? maybe if he learned to include teamates, set them up, and let them have their time a little more the team would be able to mesh better. he has 7 assists a game because he holds the ball for 35 minutes a game. i think his passing has actually regressed since he came into the league.

by the way... no question he has been unstoppable getting to the hoop, but for a guy in his 5th season, you think he would have developed a better jump shot by now. one of the most astounding things ive checked out recently was his "hotspot" diagram on nba.com. he doesnt shoot over 40% from ANYWHERE on the floor except for underneath the rim. i thought he was more well rounded than that offensively. he shouldnt even TAKE 3 pointers, much less pose after he takes it.

sorry, that was another little rant. but i really enjoyed his humble character for the first couple years and how he acted like he was just doing what he was supposed to... the whole thing has just kind of let me down.

(i hope thad doesnt change as he gets better)

I never liked the punk. He's too cocky and the media over hypes him.

I hate Lebron because he makes guys like Andre Iguodala look like role players.. JK

Then he'd knock you right off that chair you were standing on in order to say it to his face.

I'd take the hit if it mean a big payday. Especially after the way he came in here with all that show-boating. Serious, I've lost a lot of respect for him after the way he acted last game.

you sound like a punk , and come on people .Lebron beat us that night and we felt slighted . Get over it. Micheal Jordan wasn't a nice guy or classy whatever . He was just as arrogant as Kobe , just as selfish . He just knew how to play for camera's. He didn't openly berate officials without covering his mouth. Shall we move on

A "punk" because I don't like LeBron coming to our home court and showboating? A real "punk" would let him come in here and do nothing to stop him. You've got the definition all wrong. When a-holes like LeBron start acting up, you step up your game and silence them. If you can't physically stop them, you hard foul him. You double team him. You do everything possible to wipe that smirk off his mug. What you DON'T do is allow him to continually embarrass you - which is precisely what we allowed him to do.

Do you think Derrick Coleman would have allowed LeBron to pull that ****? Hell, he went after Webber back in the day and even followed him to the locker room according to many accounts. How about Charles Oakley? I don't think he'd put up with those antics either. And I know Shaq in his prime would have smacked Lebron's punk azz to the floor the next time he tried to "rock the liberty bell" as the Cleveland announcers put it. Point is, this team NEEDS an enforcer. Call me a punk all you want but I think that most fans on this forum agree that we lack this element on our roster.

no a punk for talking about taking a hit for a big payday. That's wack. YOu're talking about standing up to him and then he hits you and you've already got it in mind to get a payday. That's a punk move right there.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for Lebron. I think he's amazing, and I think we're lucky to see him in his prime like this.

I'm 34, 5'10 and weigh 170. If LeBron was stupid enough to come after me, knowing that he stood to lose millions of dollars, you're damn sure I'd be looking for a big payday. Same way I wouldn't be stupid enough to go after a fan if I were in his position.

Now on the other hand, IF I were an NBA player competing against him, that's an entirely different situation. The hell with the money in that case. I'd go back to what I said before. I'd do everything physically possible to shut him down and if that meant hard fouling him, so be it.

When I played soccer in school, I never played soft - in fact, I cherished defending against trash-talkers. On the two occasions where I dealt with severe examples, I ended both their seasons - and did it within the rules for that matter. I don't have tolerance for that kind of behavior in sports. When I made big plays I stayed humble. I was more the Emit Smith than the Michael Irving. Maybe it's an old-school thing. That's just me though. So when I see egomaniacs like LeBron showboating for the cameras, I take issue.

I have no probem with Lebron except for his camera whoring. I really dislike Kobe, not because of anything to do with B-ball though, just that he's a fake that follows what poeple want him to be, not because of what he is. His changing faces throughout his career really annoys me.
