Sounds like he needs some meds or something for his internet tough guy syndrome.

Don't you think calling me an internet tough guy and accusing me of attacking YDM is a little bit of an exaggeration? The facts are clear. He has the last post on almost every thread on the first page and 90% of those posts are worthless and contribute nothing at all. If you don't believe me, check. Its the equivalent of spam.
Personally, I think YDM is doing a disservice to our message board and to the people who frequent this forum but since it looks like I am in the minority, I will leave it alone.

It's Dirk. Again.
It would be nice, though, if someone else got serious consideration for this award. Or if there was someone who deserved serious consideration, rather. We really need another impact type player on this team. I thought that it was going to be Josh, based on his improvement last year. But he's going to have to re-establish himself as that player, if you ask me.
I'm a little worried about the future right now. But hey, the playoffs haven't started yet, and maybe Kidd will turn out to be the difference maker when it counts. I still cling to that hope.

Speaking of that, is anyone worried about Kidd playing two straight summers for Team USA. Is a backup pg one of our top priorities now to keep him fresh next season?

It's a good day for him to leave Duke.
I know we've talked about it, kidded about it, hoped quietly about it; but he's done all that he can do there. Time to go to the next level. The coach coaches pro players when he coaches Team USA. He understands how they work and what makes them tick. Cuban should offer him a boat load or at least a software company about to go public or something...
I wouldn't worry about Team USA, I highly doubt they leave the continent. Not to get political, but it's looking like the USA will be MIA at the Bejing Olympics.

If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

DFN
You aren't alone. It is very discouraging to get on here and see the entire first page of threads with one person's handle. In my opinion it is quite ridiculous and humorous at the same time. It almost makes me not want to be a part of any conversation. I don't have any beef, but that ignore button is looking mighty juicy.
BTW I voted for Vitzki

ya know, if I saw a name other than mine all up and down the board I would not like it either, but only if that person was the author of every post, not the replier. Who cares who replies to what? It really only matters who starts the conversations. As long as that's balanced, it shouldn't be an issue. Anyone else who has the same issue that mf40 and dfn has needs to honor the proper channels and deal with it accordingly, please.

If it wasn't for YDM, we would have more post by non-mav fans. YDM posting often is not the issue; it's the apathy by other mav fans that makes YDM LOOK like he posts too much. There are tons of fans on this site that post more than YDM on the other team sites. Attacking him is just (Please Use More Appropriate Word)!

I've got your back too JES. You da Man!
I have one thing to say to everyone. I love my Mavs, I have hope for my Mavs, I see this team gelling before the regular season ended, I overlook the Portland and Seattle games because of their circumstances, and I realize Avery like the rest of the Mavs will be a different animal come playoff time.
I am basing everything on facts and never ending belief the Kidd trade was the right thing to do. We get past the first round, I believe that wholeheartedly. Next round, we'll look at everything then.
On the posters who don't like my incessant posting, well - you can go ahead and bite me! I don't care. No mod has told me to stop, in fact so many people have told me to keep on going.
And the 'Yays' far outweigh the 'Nays' by far...
Go Teh Mavs!

Very tough year for Josh Howard, but he's still one of our foundation pieces, and I expect big things out of him during the playoffs. Many of our other Mavs deserve so much credit, but this is for one player, and Dirk is ultimately the winner hands down.
Yes, it's been a very tough year for Josh Howard, and though his production has seemingly been down - he's obviously been flying 'high' for quite some time. Like I said in another thread, Howard's admitted pot smoking is a disgrace and demonstrates his lack of committment in the second half of games.
By the way G-Mod, ITBL. This one is more than done. Nearly everyone has voted...
