Moron Bucks Homers
I usually love Sparky and most of the time I agree with alot of what he says.
BUT
Anyone who honestly thinks Mo Williams can get you a lotto pick or even a mid first is completely delusional.
At this point Mo MAY get you a late first or mid 20's pick and a contract match back..
Remember kids you still have to match money. This delusional crap about trading players for drafts picks you still have to make money work. No GM in their right mind will give you contract to match PLUS a lotto pick for Mo...

Outside of possibly Cleveland, Orlando, Washington and possibly GSW or Denver who wants Mo???
Then how do you match contracts and send the pick to make a reasonable deal? Philly is the only team with space and Andre Miller left more PG skills in the toilet this morning than Mo will ever have...

all the teams in that lotto have to want Mo though. this is a deep PG draft and they would have to come to the conclusion "Yeah we want Mo williams more than DJ Auguston, Darren Collison, or Russel Westbrook". or "We think Mo can help us more than OJ Mayo can".
you honestly think there is a team between 1-22 that thinks that?

It's not really that deep of a PG draft. Augustin and Collison are now projected late teens and neither is a guarantee to be better than Mo. Westbrook will go early teens at latest.
I'm not saying Mo is a star, but I guarantee he has more value than some Bucks fans think. The guy did score 17+ ppg with good %'s across the board and is still young.

Where are you seeing Augustin projected to go in the late teens? Draft Express has him at 11 and Chad Ford still has him ranked in the Top 10. Everything I've seen so far still has Augustin in the lottery and I would be surprised if he fell out of it. He was a first-team All American this year and one of the top PGs in the country.
Nothing will not break me.

In college. Major height/athleticism issues. I don't see him being a special PG, solid and serviceable. And Hansborough was an All-American too, that doesn't have anything to do with how good of a pro someone is going to be.

NBADraft.net has him at 23. Most everywhere else has him anywhere from 4-14.

You have to remember his flaws are now exposed as well. His weaknesses have been taken advantage of and are common knowledge amongst coaching staffs. With a $7-9mil/year contract, do teams take a risk on his strengths and flaws as opposed to a kid with more upside but less experience for 1/2 the pay?
Keep in mind there are a lot of guards capable of being 17ppg scorers in the league and a fair few of them are mid to late 1st/2nd round picks. So they're not exactly impossible to find.

But Chicago could be one team I can see having interest if Gordon isn't in their future plans. A deal involving Mo, Charlie, the Bulls pick and Larry Hughes could be a starting spot.
Chicago would not be interested in this. They're not going to pick Mo Williams over Ben Gordon and a pick.

I don't know what makes you think Bayless falls, but that would be great for the Bucks. His athletcism-level alone is worth taking a shot on. Outside of Rose, he's the best guard athlete in the draft (you could also maybe argue Westbrook).

Are they going to shell out 10 million for Gordon?
I was thinking something along the lines of
Mo Williams
Charlie V (young big & expiring)
Desmond Mason (expiring)
for
Hughes
Gooden
2008 1st
filler to make it work due to BYC status of Mo.

Nor should they. That would be a terrible move for the Bulls.
And Luke, so far I've only seen Chad Ford lower Bayless on his rankings. That's the only one so far but I did find it interesting that he would drop him down. I agree if Bayless fell that would be a nice pick for the Bucks.
