There's no way we get him, but I'm a huge Baron fan. Apart from being a serious player he's a classy guy with some charisma and a big profile, while on the flipside being a fierce competitor. None of these things would hurt the bucks in any way. Like I said I'm a big fan, but I don't see it happening.

I think Mo Williams would be a horrible fit next to Monta Ellis
Now Baron next to Mo Williams would probably be a pretty decent fit.

Not defensively. A 6-foot SG is a very suspect move unless the PG next to him is a really really strong defender. And that's not Baron's game. People compare Mo to Monta Ellis, but Ellis is 6-3. Mo is a small 6 foot. As horrible as he is defensively at PG, I think he would be considerably worse as a starting SG.
I agree with the comments that say the Warriors wouldn't have an interest in Redd. I agree. Ellis isn't a starting PG and I don't think the Warriors want to use him in that role. And frankly, if the Warriors are serious about getting back to the playoffs next season, I'm not sure trading Davis is the move they should make.
Nothing will not break me.

Maybe something like:
Mo/Dez/Gadz/lotto pick
FOR
Davis/GS lotto pick
Bucks could use the pick on Douglas-Roberts perhaps. So you'd go into next season with a starting lineup of:
PG: Davis/Sessions
SG: Redd/Bell
SF: Douglas-Roberts/Simmons
PF: Yi
C: Bogut/Ruffin (resigned)
Target a physical frontcourt player in the second round and trade Villanueva at some point. That could work.

This would be a no-brainer of a deal, but if the asking price for Davis is higher don't you think the Bucks would offer more? I think at the least we would include CV (who would be a great fit next to jackson and in nelly ball). I don't think we'd need to have them take Gadzuric off of our hands either, or I can see us setting for a future first rounder from Golden State.
I still maintain a 3-way deal with Cleveland would increase the likelihood of a deal, especially since if we're paying Davis huge money we would be even more loathe to keep paying Redd. Varajao would be a real great fit in Golden State though, and I can see them wanting to swap out Harrington for Joe Smith's expiring deal too.

Your speculations have no basis in fact.
Except that our weather stinks.
He seems to be doing real well in Golden State. What with Nellie benching him in a playoff life or death game and everything.
The fact is if players like him didn't have their heads up their ass, they could realize (like Shaq did) that coming to the East presents a great opportunity. For Baron, he would have the opportunity to make an All-Star game and play in the playoffs. He'll never make an All-Star game in the West. Playoffs are a tough measure in the west, even if you are a successful team.
EDIT: Why would Baron "not like any of the coaches we hire"?
Rick Carlisle is reported to be our next coach...He coached the Pistons and the Pacers with plenty of headstrong personalities (Stephen Jackson, Artest, JOneal) I think he could handle Baron Davis.

Jackson and Artest disliked Carlisle with the Pacers, not sure how it will be any different with Baron.

Re: Baron Davis trade?
I would only go after this chucker if it only costed our #7 and garbage contracts of Simmons,Gadz. Then after this deal could trade Mo for Haslem. Then deal CV for SF.DannoMac20 wrote:What about if we were to stay at the #7, draft Russell Westbrook and put him at SG ala Golden State Warriors, and somehow make a Redd for Baron trade.
Milwaukee Receives:
Baron Davis
Golden State Receives:
Michael Redd
Charlie Villanueva
May make sense for Golden State. They have a pretty weak bench outside of Pietrus, and bringing Villanueva off the bench as a pure scorer may be a good idea. They could also choose to continue to run and put CV at SF. They want to re-sign Monta long term, so it gives them a little room to re-sign Monta, put him at PG, and put Redd at SG.
Bucks starting lineup:
Baron
Westbrook
Mason
Yi
Bogut
Warriors starting lineup:
Ellis
Redd
Villanueva
Harrington
