nope...its more of his teamates stepping up and coach A being a great coach than Mcgrady being an mvp candidate... Coach A has a better shot at winning the coach of the year award than Mcgrady cracking top 5 in mvp voting.Dinky Bits wrote:53 games. 20 game winning streak. Give me one reason why a coach would want to double Mcgrady harder than a player like Kobe Bryant or Lebron James, Chris Paul, Kevin Garnett... etc...tisbee wrote:McGrady is the only player who is routinely double teamed at half-court to get the ball out of his hands. That ability has diminished for sure. But we might (well, I'm hoping) see more post-up from T-Mac in the future, ala mature Jordan. With his height and size, he can cause a bit of havoc down low on most opposing 2-guards.
