I'd put Duncan at C and Amare at PF. Amare has been playing at the 4 this year with Shaq.

Actually Booz plays Center quite a bit for the Jazz. That being said, I'm not sure I'd put dirk in over Booz anyway. I think I'd swap Amare and Howard on the first team, but otherwise it looks really solid.

can anyone point me in the direction of when the last time a Center averaged 21 points, 14.5 boards, 2+ blocks, shot 60%, and then didn't make 1st team? especially being replaced by a power forward? If Amare is put in at first team over Dwight thats a disservice to him.

For comparisons sake, their numbers are virtually the same across the board except in points and boards. Amare +4 points, and Dwight +5 rebounds. This is for the center position in the of the all NBA team, I think it's pretty clear Dwight plays center better than Amare. I'm not trying to say Amare is worse than Dwight, he's been off the charts the last few months, but he's not playing the CENTER position better than Dwight, especially when he's not even playing center anymore.

Stoudemire is so overrated, it's ridiculous..sure he's a great scorer, but he's still an average rebounder(compared to capability) and a weak defender..he has the benefit of playing without constant double teams, and plays with Shaq and Nash..2 guys that take away significant attention..

Dwight on the other hand, is the best rebounder in the NBA, a solid defender and gets double teamed all the time..

this is a pretty easy one for me..

G Kobe
G CP3
F The King
F KG
C D12

G Deron Williams
G Kid Canada
F The Truth
F Stoudewhiner aka Low IQ
C Big Fundamental

G Manu
G Mac
F Dirk
F Anthony
C Boozer

to be fair, Amare's stats are MUCH better than KGs. It's not really hating at all, and Suns only have a little less success than the Celtics.

Your honestly being more of homer than he is a hater.

With that being said. KG gets the nod for first team from me.

Amare scored more, had a higher FG%, and got to the line more. Meanwhile there's this thing called defense. Amare's defense is subpar, and KG's defense this year was historically good. Anyone who doesn't have KG on the 1st team fails.

thankyou for reading my post. I said KG gets the nod from me, I'm just saying going by stats, Amare is clearly superior. Defense isn't shown in stats, which was I said KG gets the nod from me. Stop being a homer and whining about it. I said KG should be first team, what else do you want me to say?

Actually, defense IS shown in stats. Defensive rating. It's in that link. Crude way of measuring defense, but it shows pretty clearly that a) Amare's defense is subpar and b) Garnett's defense is phenomenal. There are other stats that tell the same story. They're not fantasy basketball stats, though, so... It's cool that you recognize KG, but that dude picking Amare over him isn't some rational alternative, it's just pure spite. There is no way any rational basketball fan can pick Amare over KG this year. Next time don't scold me for being a homer. : :wavefinger:

damn, Aston Martin over Kobe? you really sure about that man? and the way I see it, Aston Martin is more of a SF kinda guy, I'd get rid of that Kobe. PG Kobe has had some pretty sick players this year, can't diss PG Kobe.
