Are they going to shell out 10 million for Gordon?

I was thinking something along the lines of

Mo Williams
Charlie V (young big & expiring)
Desmond Mason (expiring)

for

Hughes
Gooden
2008 1st
filler to make it work due to BYC status of Mo.

I'd do that only to get another first rounder, although I cannot stand Hughes and Gooden. Don't know what it really does overall for Chicago.

Those who are on this move him for a pick thing need to realize that its just not likely.

Yes, Mo's BYC status expires June 30, so given the draft is on the 28th the BYC status would still apply. And there's very little precedent for draft picks getting traded during the summer after draft night.

we still would have to add some sort of salary. the total amount we could take back with thos two "within" the CBA is 14,273,850

Brand makes $16,440,000 and thats if he doesnt opt out...

Gadzuric has some salary they can have. Bell? Simmons? Whatever the difference may be. I just think Yi and Mo could work for the Clippers.

its a good thought but the problem then is what we can offer and what other teams can (if LAC decides to trade him) may be drastically different. Im not certain a package of Yi, Bell and Mo gets it done and then on top of it there are the other questions.

Is he a Hamond guy?
wil he com back 100% from injury?
will he opt out?
will he resign?

Im not for giving up Yi for a one year rental one a guy coming off a missed season...

You think Yi is good?

I agree about the 1 year rental and wouldn't do it, just the same.

But Yi, I don't know. Almost rather keep Villanueva at this point.
