Not that it will matter in a few hours what we want, but who do we have a better chance of beating? Weigh in before we know the results. Obviously, every team in the West can kick our ass on paper so who gives us the best matchup?

1. The grind it out Spurs
2. The Jazz
3. The run and gun Suns

check this out...the best thing for us would be either the first or the second scenario because we would have homecourt

Yeah I saw that which prompted my inquiry. Call me crazy but I wouldn't mind having to grind out a win on the road. The team seems to thrive in the underdog role moreso in my opinion. We would still be in the peculiar postion of being the underdog even with homecourt advantage but the pressure of having to win those first two games would be off. We would be playing with nothing to lose.

I want the Suns, thats the team who we are most effective against. Especially in the front court, Deke can hold Shaq, and Amare is horrible on the offensive end. And there defense is just horrible, so I'm pretty sure they are the team we want, Go Jazz for tonight! But I really hope we don't get the Spurs or Jazz.

Shaq and Amare will kill us...
We have to shut EVERYONE else down they will most likely get theirs.

The Jazz aren't even trying, so it doesn't matter.

Big time. 60-37?

Can't say I blame them though. Who would you rather play in the first round, us or them?

Exactly

Are you watching the Game? Spurs are shooting like 70% They are just raping the Jazz hahahaha. We'll if we do the same they're pretty beatable =/ Regardless, I'd like to see T-mac stop being a punk and start leading like the leader he should be.

If the Jazz were tanking they would play the reserves, they are playing boozer, deron, ak, and okur right now.

They had to make it look good. No way they are giving 110% and leaving it on the floor. Its human nature. In the back of their minds they know they would be penalizing themselves by winning this game. Nobody will say it out loud of course or admit it but they are definitely tanking so they can play us and I think that is a smart move on their part. I would question their collective intelligence if they really tried to win this game.

I agree. I feel the Jazz are competing under pretense. I guess they really want to play us.

Put yourself in their postition. Which option would you take Bob?!

A. Shaq, Amare, Nash, Barbosa
B. Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, Bowen
C. T-Mac(aka the 1st round virgin around RealGM) and :dontknow:

The strength of this team is not in the indvidual parts but in the sum of those parts. That doesn't change the fact that on paper, the Atlanta Hawks would dominate us in a series.

I think I have the right answer, do I get a prize?

What's funny to me is that the Jazz are trying to make their defeat appear subtle on TV, but with the way they've been playing, it's painfully obvious that they want to play us.
