It puts a whole different spin on the exit interview when you say:

"Hi, I'm John Hammond, I've hired a real NBA coach instead of that "in over his head assistant Larry Krystowiak"....what are you're feelings for playing for Rick Carlisle? What are your problems with the way this past year went down?"

Much, much different conversation.

John Hammond is a smart man

Think about it. The hawks acquired bibby for the stretch run. if the hawks wanted somebody from the bucks it would not be a small forward or center. the Bucks would have received about the same thing Sacremento received. I highly doubt Joe johnson, Smith or marvin Williams were headed to the bucks. Childress maybe.

My guess is that the hawks wanted Mo or bell - most likely MO because he's from Alabama and does about the same things bibby does and has a salary close to Bibby's.

So what did the Kings get for Bibby?

it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know if the hawks were in the play-off race, they were not going to trade the Bucks a key starter.

CBQ< if you're now an insider, why did you bring it up in the first place? You should have known everytime an insider brings up a secret trade that didn't go down, it creates 20,000 posts wanting to know what it was.

perhaps it would do some good for the Bucks' organization if the Atlanta trade was somehow leaked out. it's hard for me to believe woeful or hunt doesn't already know about it. it's also hard for me to believe it was a major trade worth worrying about. probably zaza for gadz. or Mo for whatever Atl gave Sac.
