Outlaw was on the list but then I realized I forgot Iguadala and Grant Hill and Marvin Williams who I thought have all had better seasons. There are tons of good small forwards that did not make this list, Marion I think was a Power Forward this season with the Suns and then Haslem was out with the Heat so he played PF there too, hes been a PF all season long.

Even with this terrible season Deng put up 17/6/3 on 48% shooting.

He's been quite a disappointment, but still put up good numbers.

But yeah, 13-16 range sounds right for him.

Is Peja really still a top 15 SF in the game?

S-Jax shot 40.7% from the field this year, and was the 3rd best player on a non-playoff team. I think you have him too high. At the very least put Iguodala ahead of him, who played more games, put up better numbers at a better fg%, and led his team that was expected to be top-5 in the lottery to the playoffs. I could easily argue Andre over Caron also considering he played 24 more games and is a better defender.

My list would look like this:
1. LeBron James
2. Carmello Anthony
3. Paul Pierce
4. Andre Iguodala
5. Josh Howard
6. Caron Butler (injuries hurt his ranking)
7. Hedo Turkoglu
8. Richard Jefferson
9. Rudy Gay
10. Danny Granger
11. Steven Jackson
12. Gerald Wallace (missed 20 games)
13. Ron Artest
14. Andrei Kirilenko
15. Tayshaun Prince
16. Peja Stojakovic
17. Luol Deng
18. Grant Hill
19. Shane Battier
20. Marvin Williams

SJax is a top 10 SF, but 6 is kinda high b/c he disappeared at the end. But he's definitely top 10 because of his clutch play and D.

OP: a good list overall, but I thik you have Tayshaun a bit low. He's a great defender, and solid offensive player - sure 13.2 ppg doesn't sound that impressive, but Detroit are slow paced (according to Holinger, they are the slowest paced team in the league this year), defense first (fewest points allowed in the league), unselfish on offense (Rip leads the team with only 17.3 ppg), and like to share the minutes (nobody on Detroit averaged more than 33.7 mpg). Put Tayshaun on a fast paced team and give him 36mpg, and he puts up 18+ ppg to go along with his great d.

Ron Artest at 13?

Is this list about the "potential" of the players? If I'm building a team, I would definately pick the "potential" of Gay, but he is NOT better than Ron Artest right now. And you really feel that Granger is better than Ron Artest, really? Seriously? :nonono:

I'd have Butler and Iggy switch numbers, but otherwise it's good.

Same criteria as the first list... Ron Artest missed 25 games this year, so he gets moved down the list.

Caron has the slight edge in the stat department (.4 more points, 1.3 more boards, .1 more assists), but Iguodala playing 24 games and being the better defender made me give him the edge.

Personally I think Butler is the better defender but thats my opinion fomr what ive seen, I think Iggy is a good defender but Butler is one of the better defenders in the league and hes a better offensive player.

Also the guy that said Prince was to low because on another team he would be better: That may be true but there is no proof of that and you cant assume it so you have to go based on this season, that being said I would take Prince as my second scorer and best perimiter defender sort of in a Pipper mold any day of the week.

how could you possibly rate Carmelo Anthony over Paul Pierce?

PP should be on that list right after LeBron.

and Rudy over RJ??? move josh howard below RJ too , hes not been that good this year.
