Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday are going to kill me. I got either class or work...so I have to juggle those around and try and see as much LIVE coverage of the first round as I can. I will tape it, but it just isn't the same...

2 early afternoon games, YUK

i hate them the suns generally suck inthem (though our breakthrough win against the spurs was an arvo)

not fair we get stuck with 2 of them

So yeah, this thread's strictly for Suns-SA babble, the other big Around the NBA/Playoffs thread is for the other series'

Is there a way we can make the thread title a little more, well, nice?

Something like;

"First Round Discussion Thread -- (3) San Antonio v. (6) Phoenix"

And is this thread for ALL the games? I'd imagine the thread would get quite large..

And SDU, we may not be so good in afternoon games but we won Game 1 of the Suns/Lakers in 2006, and that was an early game! We also lost Game 4 of that series, which was an afternoon game. Unfortunately, I was present at that game -- you know the one.... :banghead:

In 2007, we won games 2 and 4 against the Lakers which were afternoon games. We lost Game 1 against the Spurs which was an afternoon game.

So in the playoffs the last two years, we're 3-2 in afternoon games.

I agree that the day games vs San Antonio are bad. After all, the dino's on the Spurs like to get to bed after Wheel of Fortune.

In the spirit of things I made this...I love those posters like the Fat Emo and 'Go Be Fat Somewhere Else' pictures that get emailed around haha

This one sucks, but meh it was the first thing I could think of that wasn't going to bring up bad memories like the Nash nose incident or Amare/Diaw...

Yeah i make it out be be 5am for VIC so 4.30am for the SA's, but on the bright side as I work sundays I can hopefully get the whole game in before i need to leave for work.

Hope that's a little more suitable your majesty :lol:

I think there's obviously going to be stickied threads for each game, I just think it'll be a lot cleaner if we post links/articles/quotes etc from around the net in here (about OUR series). Other NBA tidbits can go in the big daddy thread

I don't know about San Antonio being the most hated team, when i look around aother team boards we ourselves are pretty damn hated.

I've had balling7 on ignore for a good 18months now so he doesnt annoy me anymore
