there is no way there is a game on the 26th, the game will be over at 5 30, people will be out of the stadium at about 615 630, i work at the acc and i know that they can not switch the stadium, and have it cleaned in 45 minutes for the toronto rock gates that open at 7 oclock....
i understand the nba playoffs are alot more important than the rock, but the rock game is scheduled, they are probably going to have to change that,

on top of that, it being the first playoff game it might take longer than an hour to have the whole stadium cleared....
nba.com hasnt released its official schedule yet, so dont be surprised if that changes....
my shift for the rock game starts at 5 oclock, and for a raptors 3 oclock game my shift would end at approximately 9 oclock, i dont think that is reasonable, or possible....

This Sched SUCKS!!! i cant make it to games 3 & 4 so now ive got to sell my tixs! I agree there is no way they can clear the ACC, clean, and convert the court to lacrosse field in the matter of 1.5 hours... i cannt see them cancelling the Rock game though, because it is some kind of commemorative ticket night..(something special?)

We def got the short end of the stick! SCREW STERN and the "computer" that made this schedule....

I guess Magic vs. Raps isn't as excitement as it was Raptors vs. Nets, because I think Last Year we had 1 Game (Game 2, I think) NBATV schedule.

Yeah, Game 3 time or date has to change. Because they can't have a 3:00pm Raptors Playoffs Game then Rock's game at 7:00pm Game. It will be hard for them to clear out the arena in an hour and half or half hour. Also you have think about Post game and interviews. Most like I think it's going to change.

People people, relax, this is just the "national" broadcast schedule, not the local one. I'm sure TSN or Sportsnet or CBC or The Score will show the games, this won't be only on NBATV!

It's just on NBATV for American's (who live outside of Orlando) because unsurprisingly no one else cares about this series (12:30 game 1 spot?)

Like others have pointed out, those NBA TV and TNT games are just the networks that'll be covering the games nationally in the States. In Canada, they'll still be on The Score and TSN for your viewing pleasure.

And for the people that keep harping on the Toronto Rock thing, I think the game is being re-scheduled or just flat-out moved according to Doug Smith's blog entry a few hours ago. MLSE knew it had the Rock in there on the 26th but I guess they felt the series was going to be delayed too long if they didn't play Saturday. Don't forget it's the team that sends the league availability as far as the days go.. it's the TV networks that decide the times.

Good point. The Rock can take a backseat.

Jeez, is being on a lower level station such as NBA TV going to hurt our chance at winning? At least Rick Cama (whatever the guy's name is that does the Fantasy Hoops Show) is commentating. He's really knowledgeable.

I'm not entirely sure here, but doesn't NBA TV just carry one of the local feeds for their NBA games? In this case, it would be the Magic broadcast. They have their own studio of course and will do the pre-game and post game stuff, but that's it. And it's Rick Kamla, I remember he did some of the FIBA chips, he also did our pre-season game against the Celtics in Rome, he was pretty good.

For the playoffs only, NBA TV will produce the games and use its own announcers. In the past, Ian Eagle (Nets) and Kevin Calabro (Sonics) were used as play-by-play guys. Bill Raftery, Steve Jones and Jack Ramsay were used as colour guys. For this year, it wouldn't surprise me if Rick Kamla did a few games doing play-by-play.

Not a surprise. Neither Orlando or TO draw a lot of viewers.

Players love to party when they're in Toronto on Saturday nights.

Here's hoping they do again, while we rest at a normal time.

Yeah. I just keep thinking Game 4 is going to be Sunday as well. I've been expecting it so much so, that I keep thinking it was made official to be the Sunday.

Either way, they can still party Friday night. :)
