Dirk's bulletin board material

Just heard audio on BaD radio on the Ticket of Dirk talking about wanting to avoid playing the Lakers and that it was very important they won last nights game. Is it what we all thought? yes. Is it what he should have said? no. Is that big of a deal? not really. Will it be made into a big deal? probably.

The guy needs to learn to not always be so honest and candid in interviews. You know the Hornets will try to use this. Why even bother giving them something to use? We'll see if this "story" winds up developing with more info later in the day or week.

Chris Paul to sit out 9 minutes in the 2nd quarter so that they want to play Dallas.

I don't see this as bulletin board material.

Maybe Dirk sholdn't have been so forthcoming, but he never said the Hornets were a easy team.

Also people trying to make a big deal out of this...rofl.
If the Hornets need extra motivation from a neutral comment then they have bigger things to worry about.

This is ONLY bulletin board material pending a meeting between us and the Fakers in the Conference finals. Then and only then will it be bulletin board fodder. The only difference is instead of p*ssing off the other team, Dirk will in turn make them LOL! at him. Still not a good situation to be in.

I agree, Dirk needs to learn restraint when talking with the media.
