Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Golden State being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Golden State had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Would you guys consider a LaFrentz expiring, #13 in the draft, Jarrett Jack, and 2 second round picks trade for Baron Davis?

For me, anyway, f*ck yes. I like Jack as a 6th man combo guard quite a bit, and we could get Speights and Clark in the draft for the frontline...I wholeheartedly approve.

Hell no. I want a top lottery pick, and I'm not a fan of Jarrett Jack.

It's the sequel of the J-Rich trade. I think we have to take that, as we keep the trade possibilities of a big expiring while already cashing in a part of Barons value. If we can trade RLaF contract for something useful we would've turned Barons last year into $something useful$, a mid lottery pick, Jarret Jack and a second rounder or two. That's as good as it gets, I think.

Yeah, it's kind of like getting a lottery pick in perhaps the deepest draft in recent memory and a six month trade exception.

At some point, I would like to turn an expiring into a player we actually want to keep.

...which is what you could still do with LaFrentz at the trade deadline.

Or you just start LaFrentz. Because he can shoot threes and everything...

Nellie can come full circle again, like with Webber. Isn't he responsible for LaFrentz' contract?

On a more serious note... Could we use Richard Jefferson? The Nets are going to rebuild, especially if they move to Brooklyn. $17mio in capspace would come handy and they get an exciting player for one year.

I agree except for the Speights part...

If the only way to get more picks is that, I'm down...

Just so everyone's clear, that the #13, #34, #35 picks.. otherwise not interested.

#13 - Love
#14 - Rush
#34 - Dorsey
#35 - Chalmers

Ellis / Jack / Chalmers
Beli / Rush / Jack (til Rush could start)
Jax / Harrington
Wright / Harrington / Dorsey
Biedrins / Love / Kosta

Not bad... still need to get rid of Harrington in that scenario though.

Dude, change your effin name. I don't want anyone thinking I would go anywhere near that douchepoon Jefferson.

He's on my "All Never Cheer For" squad with Kobe, Ruben Patterson and Pierre Pierce. Jefferson's abortion of an olympic performance is why the terrorists hate us. Eff that dude.

I like this Trade....Warriors need to rid of the idea of Harrington as an answer at PF.... Miller shoots much better and we would have no illusions of him being a PF type player....

This assumes that BWright is the solution at PF....or that we have a player to fill that role.
