Lionel Richie.

I know he sang the original, but the version that popped in my head was done by Me First & the Gimme Gimmes.

As you start following this board more you'll notice much of the stuff I post on BH is culled from the discussions we have here. No better place to talk Bucks than here, but it can certainly be a little overwhelming.

I guess that makes Cold Crush a quasi-celebrity impersonator :)

Also, Shirley Manson is TOTALLY a real celebrity...I loved that band back in the day.

Kelly Dwyer from Yahoo posts openly on the Bulls board...I'm personally not aware of any other quasi-celebrities posting openly or secretly.

Garbage was relevant for like one album.....ten years ago. There has to be levels of celebrity. They'd be about C-List in 2008. It's not like Bono or Johnny Depp are showing up court side.

BTW, Shirley Manson was a masochist (a theory supported by her music too) to follow the Bucks, even if she was stationed in Milwaukee with her band to write an album. You think I'd feel attached to this franchise if I weren't born here?

I was reading some of Charlie's posts and that was kind nice of him. Good way to get the fans involved is to have players interact with them. However, I noticed that he's only got 50 posts; is this because he was told to stop??

When bigkurty and I talked to him for a while, I told him that I was assuming he wasn't posting here anymore because someone (either his agent or someone from the Bucks) told him to stop, but he told me that he simply had been busier than usual lately and just never ended up finding time to post.

He did post that night saying that it was nice meeting us, so he certainly isn't completely prohibited from posting here.

Yeah, that is the kind of person I'd classify as a quasi-celebrity.
Like I said, there are a handful that I happen to be aware of that choose to post here secretly, so I therefore assume that there are others who choose to post here secretly that I am unaware of.

No doubt. I've been reading for a long time and discovered realgm through the links you have on the right hand side. The Bratwurst is OK but they don't update it often.

As for celebrity sightings - I used to see the players out and about often. Bogut at EVE and Dino's, Gadz; now I just see an unemployed Latrelle at Eve stalking out his next victim. Last time I was there, he walked away with a stacked blonde hair, blue eyed eastern European lovely...

Usually any thread that mentions Lionel Ritchie gets locked automatically. There must be a glitch in the software.

In all seriousness, I'm so very glad for that software feature!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she's been open publicly about being a "cutter" in the past...insert Bucks joke here.

I'm guessing maybe 5% of this board even knows who she is, so c-list might be kind at this stage. But hey, I'd argue they were relevant for two albums...the last coming out...well, nine years ago. Too bad, they were good.

Well nobody here mentioned Lionel Ritchie. I mentioned Lionel Richie, however. 8)
