I like yours Impulse.

I might have Phoenix beating LA in the WCF, but Utah, La, whatever.

In the East, I think Philly and Toronto could win some games, but inconsequential in the end.

Boston has been in a Rambo mindset the whole year... I wasn't sure what to do with Toronto but my impression has been that they haven't been doing that great lately. Plus, let's face it, there is a YAWNING GULF of talent between Boston/Orlando/Detroit and everybody else in the conference.

Also: Yes, Rondo would look good with PHX across his chest, although he'd never play with a mediocre outside shot... Plus they did take Grant off our hands.

SS - I think you've got your wires crossed, NOR and LAL cannot meet in the West until the WCF...the way it's worked out is that #1 plays #2 on both sides...NEVER works out that way though obviously...cough Dallas ....cough cough...

The playoffs are here!!!

Eastern Conf.
Round 1
Celtics (4) over the Hawks (1)
Detroit (4) over the 76ers (1)
Magic (4) over the Raptors (2)
Wizards (40 over the Cavs(3)

Round 2
Celtics (4) over the Wizards(2)
Pistons (4) over the Magic (3)

Eastern Conferance Finals
Celtiics (4) over the Pistons (3) = Only becouse of the home court advantange.

Western Conferance
1st Round
Lakers (4) over the Nuggets (2)
Jazz(4) over the Rockets (2)
Suns (4) over the Spurs (2)
Mavs(4) over the Hornets(2)

2nd Round
Lakers (4) over the Mavs (3)
Suns (4) over the Jazz(2)

Western Confernace Finals
Suns (4) over the Lakers (2)

My whole conspirancy theory is that David 'I'm an idiot" Stern wants the Suns and the Lakers to meet in the WCF for the ratings. So I do beleive that this year we are not going to get screwed by the refs like we usually do. But you never know with this idiot of a commisioner that we got.

NBA Finals
Suns (4) over the Celtics (3)= Amare dominates Kevin Garnett and win the NBA Finals MVP!

They're 4-6 in their last ten over absolutely cupcake teams.

Wins: Charlotte, Miami, Milwaukee, NJ
Losses: Detroit and NO (excusable), Chicago, New Jersey, Charlotte, Atlanta

They could get a game, or even two, but they're in a slump at a bad time.

Who are the sleepers in the playoffs? I would say Dallas in the west, and Cleveland in the east.

about predictions, the homer in me can't do it.

Good call. I was too worried about making it asthetically pleasing. Wasn't paying attention.

I know they suck pretty badly at the moment, but I'm way too much of a homer to accept a 4-0 sweep against the damn Magic ;)
Seriously: not saying they'll advance to the next round, in fact if I had to bet I'd put my money on Orlando, as well, but they'll win at least one game at the Air Canada Center.

Leastern Conference
Boston 4 Atlanta 0 (Someone said it earlier Hawks suck Donkey balls.)

Cleveland 3 Washington 4 ( Everyone getting healthy at the right time.)

Orlando 4 Toronto 2 (Dwight is going to be a Beast and average 20Pts 20Reb in the playoffs. :))

Detroit 4 Philadelphia 3 (It is going to be tougher than what some think. Philly is peaking at the right time.)

Boston 4 Washington 3 ( I would really like to pick the Wiz here but I can't. However I made it go to game 7 because the Wiz have really had Boston's number this year.)

Detroit 4 Orlando 2 (Orlando will get the 2 at home but Detroit will embarrass them overall.)

Boston 3 Detroit 4 (Experience here makes a difference. I think mister big shot will prove big again.)

Western ( cough Superior) Conference

LA Lakers 4 Denver 3 ( I pick them to wear the Lakers out and I really don't care if Bynum is back yet because he should be rusty as hell. If not then sue me. J/K)

Utah 4 Houston 1 (There is just not enough fire power on Houston. I expect Kirilenko to come up big in this series.)

Phoenix 4 San Antonio 1 ( Shaq factor to much for SA to overcome. I believe that we will officially exorcised the Spur demon this year with a series win over SA.)

Dallas 1 New Orleans 4 ( NO just too strong. CP3 will average a triple-double the same as J-Kidd. All games will be super close down the wire nail biters.)

Utah 3 LA Lakers 4 ( This is going to be a series of match ups. I think Kirilenko could come up big again. But Memet will have to be the savior of the Jazz. Kobe will pull this out of his *&%.)

Phoenix 4 Hornets 3 ( Every game is nail biting but the Shaq factor again out weights what NO can throw at the Suns.)

Phoenix 4 Lakers 3 ( We smoke 2 of these games. But lose 3 then nail bite 2. We already exorcised our SA demon. Let us not let LA exorcise the Suns demon.) This will be a sweet, sweet victory.

Finals

Phoenix 4 Boston 2 ( This is our year! Phoenix will just be too pumped and Boston too inexperienced.)
