Nice thread achillies

We'll need everbody on our team contributing, just like last game when we abused their butts bad.

Amare's just a flat out beast in the post-season, watch him put up freakish numbers against the Sterns again

Bowen gettin up close and personal with Nashty won't be as much of a threat for us this year since we got Hill/Diaw/Shaq who can all create plays in the half-court as well.

GO SUNS!

but it isnt better to merge it to the series thread? or better to have a separate thread for each game?

a win or a loss is the ultimate result, but i need to see some other things to give me hope that we can take them in the playoffs

* Diaw and barbosa need to show me that he can show up against the spurs. Too often they are shut down and we get nothing from our bench

* If they are shut down, i hope to see giri at least give us something off the bench

* The spurs always shut down our perimeter game, and we never hit many threes against them, i want to see nash barbs bell combine for at least 6 three point makes and the suns to still attempt 16+ three point shots

* Duncans highest total against shaq in the last 4 years is 17points, i would like to see shaq contain him again

* If amare is going to be protected from defending duncan, i expect him to be able to get 30+ with the added freedom, amare must be agressive

* i hope the refs call the game correctly.

These are things i need to see signs of to reaffirm that my faith in the suns being able to beat the spurs this postseason is not misplaced

this one is just a perfect analysis of what really the keys to beat SAS.

barbs had a good game last time we played the spurs and what a way to find his rhythm in the spurs homecourt. that brings a lot of encouragement for me. i really thought the guy just doenst have a heart at all. but then again, he has to be consistent. diaw has been good at least 7 out of our last 10 games.

Then you guys can sort out who gets the clincher ;)

Poor old, huh? Sounds like you know me a little too well, buddy ;)

Good job, like your game thread a lot. And I'm definitely not sad about getting a break from it, either :)

Maybe you should wait for me to read this thread so I can answer your question before you put me into the list on the other one, Mace ;)

Seriously though, it's like I said before: I don't mind doing those no one else wants to do, as long as you let me know in time (aka a little sooner than just two hours before the next game ;)). Maybe you should really rename Dr. Funk's thread in order to let everybody know it's the right place to post at in order to get one of those sexy playoff games.

And now that this is said and done:

I hope that just cuz everyone expects this series to be physical, the refs don't feel the need to interject and control, resulting in a bunch of stupid whistles.

Actually, it's the Suns/Spurs, of course they'll do that anyway.

As long as it goes both ways then its fine, but whats good for the sterns damn sure better be good for the suns and vice versa.
