Ok playoffs are hear and im TOTALLY excited and cant wait to get started...Butttt while we are in some down time here before the first game...I was thinking about some possible trades and moves that can be made during the offseason

So how would you guys feel about these moves?...

Hedo Turkaglu(I love him but he will be so valuable, almost expiring)
JJ Redick
Brian Cook

Richard Jefferson
Marcus Williams

Then we turn around and do...

2008 1st Round Pick
Rights to Fran

GSW 1st Round Pick

Then we draft...

Nicolas Batum

Then we resign...

Keyon Dooling

Then we use our MLE on...

I dont really have faith in Hedo long term...He will want a big extension and i just dont see it working out

So we deal him while he has enormous value...Pick up Richard Jefferson and maybe a future PG in Marcus Williams

Then just pick up a bruiser PF with MLE and we're set

It is hard to deal with because we love Hedo so much but the NJ trade makes us better.

Richard Jefferson is a far better player than Hedo (sorry guys, but it's true). Hedo fits our current system better though.

I'd probably make the trade, just because Hedo's shortcoming has always been inconsistency and Jefferson is a bonafide star.

I don't like this trade, but this raises the bigger question I have been worried about since after the all star break. How is Hedo's rise going to affect us when we have to re sign him. He will get a max offer from someone if he has another season like this next year. Can we afford to pay him max money and continue building this team for fear of the luxery tax? Is there a capologist out there that can analyze how a max contract too Hedo will affect this team in the future?

How can you say RJ is better than Hedo? Hedo is a better playmaker and better defensively.

wow, the playoffs are here. We're the #3 seed, we just won 52 games. And you're sitting here wondering who we should trade.

Lol I realize the playoffs are coming up...And when they are actually here...Believe me i will not bring any of this up.

But I always like to think of ways to make the team better and i think this trade and the other moves would do it.

Whether Otis is ready to make some moves is a different story.

im for trading Hedo he's gonna want a pay day we cant afford. And im afraid he's a one year thing. i dont think he will continue this. However i dont wanna do the trade withNJ

You all do realize he has a full year and then an option left on the contract.
