Billups vs Davis

Who would you want for your team? Who is the better player?

Season stats;

Billups:

PPG:17

APG:7

TO:2

FG%:45

3FG%:40

MPG:32
-----------
Davis:

PPG:22

APG:7.6

TO:2.8

FG%:42.6

3FG%:33

MPG:39

[Note the extra 7 MPG Baron plays]

Its a fairly tricky comparison because Detriot plays at one of the slower paces in the league, while Baron plays at one of the fastest paces on the league.

Chauncey easily. Pistons players are always underrated because of the system they play in. They are arguably the second best team in the league, but look at the numbers they put up:
- Rip leads the team in scoring with 17.3 ppg
- Chauncey leads the team in assists with 6.8 apg
- McDyess leads the team in boards with 8.5 rpg

The Pistons play at the slowest pace in the league, they focus on defense, they really share the ball, and they play their bench a lot (nobody averages more than 33.7 mpg). That's why their numbers are low, not because the players are untalented.

Put Chauncey on the Warriors and he puts up substantially better numbers than Baron, while playing smarter/more in control. PGs almost never get the best of Chauncey in a head-to-head matchup, to me he is at worst the 4th best PG in the league (behind Paul, Deron, and Nash, but honestly it's somewhat of a toss up between him, Deron and Nash).
