Redick told the Magic of his wishes waaaaay before Xmas. What came out in print had already been told to the team.
The minutes did not come because Bogans hits just enough 3's to warrant PT over Redick. Bogans brings the NBA body.......it would have been interesting to see what SVG would have done with Bogans PT had he ever stayed in a prolonged shooting slump.
