Playoff Bracket

Post#1 » by pooteeweet » Thu Apr 17, 2008 6:40 pm

The playoff bracket couldn't have gone any better for us. Not to look too far ahead, but in the 2nd round we'd get the winner of Houston-Utah. We'd be heavy favorites against either of those team without Bynum and Ariza. We'd face SA, Phx, NO, or Dallas in the WCF, but not until a week into June. That gives us the potential to rest Bynum and Ariza for another 7 weeks.

If we can make it to the WCF we will be healthy and a monster for anyone. Lets just keep it rolling and the longer we play the healthier we get!

The WCF is still another 7 weeks out? Damn the playoffs are long.

I think the exact date is still TBD, but the date I saw was June 5th. If can handle our business without Bynum and Ariza until then, one could hardly draw up a better scenario.

I really want to believe that houston can win against jerry Sloan and the jazz in a 7 game series. Im not confident on that one.

My surprise pick is orlando over detroit! yup! believe it!

Prediction: Lakers vs Celtics will go seven games, lakers win it!

Almost all brackets are identical because, altough the west can be so wild, we all say who is gonna win. tough games, yes, but we already know what would happend! never mind against who! In the east, theres just two options. pistons or Celtics.

Damn, I hate you, and seriously: how did you dare to steal my predictions which I regarded so original and full of upsets? ;-)

Edit: Though as to beating Suns or especially Celts, it's feasible only with Bynum back and contributing.

I predict that the undefeated series winner in this year's playoffs will win the NBA championship.

In fact, I'm willing to give you 20:1 odds.

Bookies in Vegas, you know the number.
