Regardless how Scott plays them, I am predicting a Mavs victory tonight, and a resounding one at that.

I luvs ya JES, picking on each other is what we do best!

Now lets not be over-confident like we were last year. I think the Hornets were toying with us today by letting Paul stay on the bench in the 2nd quarter. Also, the supporting cast of MoPete, Bonzi and Peja can light it up any night to help West, Paul and Chandler.

Was anyone else worried about Dampier's +/- of -17 in as many minutes? I know Bass looked good with that +34, but Damp is crucial and cannot have a repeat performance. Same is true with Dirk and his 4-16 shooting.

Personally, I think Avery wasn't showing his whole hand. Damp and the Mavs will be back with a vengeance Saturday Night at 6pm CT...

It is a card game. Neither team showed their playoff hand. That will be this Saturday. The tone has been set with a Dallas win. For Dallas this is a best out of 8, meaning if Dallas reaches 5 before New Orleans reaches 4, Dallas wins the series. This would include last nights game.
So we are 1 up. This is good, no one is talking about the next opponent. It is now,,the Hornets and no one else,,,,good focus....keep it that way until it is over....FOCUS AVERY, AND GET THE TEAM FOCUSED. BE THE BALL,,,,BE THE COACH

After the Warriors win we became the Mavericks again. Play well against elite teams (ie. Jazz, Hornets, etc.). Overlook and lose to inferior teams. Hopefully we can continue to play to our abilities.

I actually think there is a chance he will let them play. I think it's a different season, the post-season...
