Considering Travis Outlaw came straight out of High School I'm guessing it isn't him.

Rasheed Wallace for kicks.

Battier or Brand sound good though.

Grant Hill

I think he is a player who has carried himself well, and will likely try to inject that into new generations.

But Elton Brand & Shane Battier aren't bad choices.

(All Dukies. Hmm..)

Bingo. Derek Fisher has great experience with the NBA players association, and will likely get a great chance to be part of the intense negotiations when the CBA expires on 2011-2012 if not terminated by the league in 2010.

Also Etan Thomas is an extremely intellectual person who is also part of the NBAPA.

It think they would be the best for the league to have as commissioners when speaking about former players.

Brand is a fantastic choice from a professional as well as business point of view but someone like Steve Nash might make a more player and fan friendly commissioner.

Grant Hill would be my choice, too. If he doesn't run for political office (and he has hinted that he might), commissioner might not be a bad fall-back option.
