Phoenix/Boston playoff game from the 70s that went to I think 3OTs comes to mind.
A Boston/Milwaukee OT game when Havlicek went against Kareem comes to mind.
The Lakers over Portland comes to mind, and so does a Laker comeback against Sacto. Both controversial, but still great games.
This game today was played at a higher level than any I can remember since Lakers/Boston 20 years ago.
Those are definitely on the list. Just off the top of my head, I'll add Mike's winner against Utah, Magic's hook shot in Game 4 of the 87 Finals, Reggie's last-second flurry against the Knicks and a second- or third-round game in the mid-90s where the Magic and the Pacers traded like four go-ahead shots in the last 20 seconds.
Get the thinking caps on because I'm sure this will be a hot topic over the next few days.

You wont even utilize the big man you have but you run PnR with freaking Boris DIAW! over and over.
Didnt foul Duncan
No post plays
No plays called for Shaq
No players cutting to the hole
No Grant Hill (Smart player)
and then in the last seconds you take out yorur inside and let the offense drive in for the win.
He should be gone thus summe
Thank you...........
We're so tired of watching this shlupp get out-coached in crunch time. I put a $100 on it that his end of game plays read, "Somebody catch and somebody shoot" .........that's about as good as a tactician that man is.

But that wasn't a great game. It was like 73-72. It had a great ending don't get me wrong but the overall game was boring until the last 30 seconds.

This Game was incredible , i thought the Suns had it at the end of the 4th and bang , i thought they had it at the end of OT and Tim Duncan hits a 3 while Amare is fouled out . Then Parker and Thomas foul out and i thought the momentum shifted again to Phoenix . But they couldn't handle it .
Just amazing WOW , def. the best Game i've seen.

Of course it doesn't matter, but yes, I saw that too, and no one picked it up on the replay (announcers)

I agree; the Lakers actually had a pretty comfortable margin for most of the game until the Spurs made a late charge. Other than the last two shots, it wasn't a very well-played game.

I like your additions. All worthy.
