Devastating loss = Spurs in 4

Post#1 » by Kid Vicious » Sun Apr 20, 2008 12:23 am

Wow. As great as this series looks like it might be, I think it will be impossible for the Suns to recover from a loss like today's.

The psycological barrier must be about 100 feet high in their minds now. They already have it cemented in their minds that they can't beat the Spurs, and today just proved it again.

Nash is still my favourite, but sadly, it just looks like it's not in the cards for him. He'll still go down as one of the greats of hisera, despite the inevitability of another early post-season exit, and 0 rings.

This reminds me of in 2004 when the lakers came back and won game 1 in dramatic fashion, and everyone said the pistons wouldnt come back b/c they were done emotionally and w/e, well they did and won. It's still a series, but the suns must come back strong and show mental toughness and that they aren't phased from what happened. It's not going to be easy though, they need to regroup and focus on the things they did right and have a huge game 2.
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Well, the Suns are the better team. They have just to play more intelligent. This series will go over six games minium regardless.

I'd seriously give you money if the Suns were swept.

Get real, the Suns are too good to get swept. Are you kidding? This series will go 6 or more likely 7 games. This is the most competitive series of the 1st round. No one is getting swept here.

Are you kidding? The Suns are better? Since when? Didn't the Spurs win the Title last year? Didn't they prove to EVERYONE who the best team is?

Gimme a break. The SUNS are wannabes, they are a joke, they aren't better than ANYONE. Gimme a break.
