why does Duncan have to fool us so much? I thought he was declining..does he really not try that badly in the regular season? he was missing easy shots and not being aggressive in almost every game of the last month, but he comes out and does this? I **** love this guy, and this is the time of the year where he reminds me why he's my favorite player..

Tim just coasted more this year, played below typical starters minutes as usual, but still had several big games during the season too

Tim Duncan is deceiving. His regular season numbers aren't incredible, but once the playoffs start he is a **** unstoppable machine.

I never run out of praise for Tim Duncan. this has been his era. He's not one of my favorite players (kobe wade iverson kg) but he's definitely the one with most of my respect. Its amazing how he just shows up, does his job, and go home. Whenever someone asks him a question after he has a stellar game or series he'll just give the credit to his teammates, no matter how many dumb things they do during the game, and then goes to the locker room to prepare for the next game. That's what kept San Antonio such a stable and unconflicted organization for the past 9 years. Your superstar doesn't call players out and cause dissension in the locker room.

Game 1 was exactly why I love Timmy D so much! I hope he continues to play like a monster and continues to be aggressive. Go Spurs Go!

Philly fan here

Duncan is one of my favorite NBA players. He exemplifies class in everything he does, and has an incredible work ethic and skillset.

I have you guys beating Phoenix and eventually winning the championship this year.

Good luck!
