Does he know anything about basketball? Or is he just a guy who yells really loud?

This has been discussed many times. He doesn't know anything about basketball.

he has too many agendas and biases to be a reliable objective opinion on the NBA, not to o mention his gimmick gets in the way anytime he actually does say something of importance

I actually agree with Steven A. Smith most of the time. If he wasn't annoying, he'd be a much better analyst. He's like espn's version of Charles Barkley. The only difference is that Barkley isn't annoying.

He knows nothing. He probably reads scripts.

I wholeheartedly believe that I could do his job better than him.
Oh. BTW. He's the highest-paid sports-journalist alive today. Pulls in somewhere between 800-900k a year.
So frustrating.

Go to 2:30 and you will hear the great Stephen A say this quote below.

"That's what I do when I'm stressed. Some people squeeze a ball. Some people go... kickboxing, or they work out and all this other stuff. I eat Cheez Doodles. That's what I do when I'm stressed. I'm gonna eat my Cheez Doodles."

Aside from the racism, the needless yelling, and the biases towards people he's friends with....he still sucks.
