Yea that was an amazing game!

This series could end up being one of the best ever, and I think whoever wins this series will be the team representing the West.

It shouldn't have gone into double OT, but D'Antoni is a moron. Thank him for the double OT thriller. The Suns should have easily closed it out in regulation, yet again he **** up though.

No. The spurs are boring...

In all seriousness though, the Spurs are involved in so many of the best games of the last decade and yet they're boring. It's kind of ironic..

This game
Pistons Spurs GM5
Game 7 v Dallas
etc.
etc.

What was crazy was that even once Nash his the three, you still felt the game was over. Manu scored like it was nothing.

That game today was ridiculous. As soon as Tim got the ball, you knew he was going to shoot it, that was an incredibly exciting moment. Nash's three was fantastic as well, but you just had that feeling that either parker or ginobili would just drive that ball in for an easy score. It was disappointing that Shaq and Amare were committing so many fouls though.

It only disappointed me about the Shaqtus. It's normal for Amare, unfortunately.

Yes, for the sole reason that I've never seen Duncan show so much emotion.

Good point, but that was minor in the grand scheme of things. So many moments in that game.

Duncan showing that passion just added to that game's classic-ness.

passion, something the suns lack
AJ:"I'm Western Conference," he said. "I'm Popovich. I'm for him, for Texas and for the Spurs."

Honestly man the Suns dont lack passion. Some of them do however lack the ability to finish the game. Stoudemire with the offensive foul when he should have just relied on his jumpshot instead of forcing it. Diaw who couldnt make a layup to end the game in OT.

I saw so much emotion and passion to fight for every ball from both teams. This game just had it all. It will be kinda disappointing to watch the rest of this series, because there is no way it can get any better than this.

Fantastic game, too bad it was the first game of a first round series. I'm just not sure that one can be considered classic.

In terms of the sheer level of basketball being demonstrated in this series... The real question is has there ever been a better first round series? not talking about how close the games were or including rivalries or anything, I'm just talking about the quality of play.. This has to be the most basketball ability packed into a first round series in the history of the NBA.

I still think Game 4 Suns Vs Lakers in First Round 2006 Playoffs was better. But this game was one of the best games this year. If not the best game of this year for now.

Hell yeah! Double overtime thriller by two. Finley, Duncan, Nash, and Ginobili with clutch shots. Duncan showing emotion. Definitely instant classic material.
