Dirk is still 3rd best imo and Bosh and Gasol should be higher than West.

Gasol and Jefferson have been Centers all year so you can take them off the list, if your going to put Brand on im assuming you are considering over his career then he should probably be in that second tier.

Boozer is not better than Dirk? Can you explain to me why you think that?

I am glad you put the asterisk there because Brand is definitely approaching top 5 when fully healthy. I would put him at #6 on that list. I would rather have him over Bosh any day.

Tim Duncan is a center.
Mine would be:
1 Kevin Garnett
2 Dirk Nowitzki
3 Amare Stoudemire-Now PF alongside Shaquille O'Neal
4 Carlos Boozer* Who defends Cs on this team, he or Mehmet Okur?
5 Elton Brand* Injured
6 Pau Gasol-Now PF with Lakers next to Andrew Bynum.
7 Chris Bosh* Is he the PF or C? He or Andrea Bargnani?
8 Antawn Jamison
9 Josh Smith* Is he the SF or PF? He or Marvin Williams?
10 David West
11 LaMarcus Aldridge
12 Emeka Okafor-Now PF with acquisition of Nazr Mohammed.

4 Carlos Boozer* Who defends Cs on this team, he or Mehmet Okur? Most people consider him a prototype PF but this is a legit question since he is the leading rebounder and inside scorer and is more often defended by centers than Okur
5 Elton Brand* Injured
6 Pau Gasol-Now PF with Lakers next to Andrew Bynum. He and Bosh are definitely F/C, considering Bynum hasn't played with Gasol I think you could put him down as C for his time with LA7 Chris Bosh* Is he the PF or C? He or Andrea Bargnani?
8 Antawn Jamison
9 Josh Smith* Is he the SF or PF? He or Marvin Williams? Josh plays more minutes at center than he does at SF, Marv will slide over to PF when Josh goes out of the game but Josh hasn't really played any meaningful minutes at SF this season except on defense where he has defended literally every position on the floor at some point.10 David West
11 LaMarcus Aldridge
12 Emeka Okafor-Now PF with acquisition of Nazr Mohammed. Another F/C, he is one that should definitely be a full time C because he has absolutely no finesse game and seems to have trouble chasing guys around on D but is strong enough to handle true Cs down low

To answer your question, Memo most often guards the other teams best inside player, although Boozer is most commonly guarded by the other team's center, since Memo hangs out around the perimeter so much.

Also, I like this list, with West moving up past Jamison and Josh Smith, and Brand being 5 when fully healthy.

As for Duncan.....I really don't know what to do with him. He has been as good as ever throughout this season, but it seems like his grounhog-day type consistency has waivered quite a bit, and that he is obviously not as mobile and/or explosive as he used to be.

On one hand, I want to move him down the list (even though he SHOULD be regarded as a Center like you say), but on the other he is still the focal point of a very good team who is capable of dominating like always. I'll leave him up there for one more season, I guess.

No he shouldn't.

I think it's safe to say that he was the Wolves center this season, but his natural position is power forward. It's just like how Tim Duncan plays center most of the time, however, he is a PF.

I'd put Pau Gasol at #3. He's very underrated and people hate on him too much. Look at him against Denver, just sick.

most of his baskets in that denver game were open layins/dunks, basing your opinion on a player on one game is never a good idea.

I think the guy that said LA over Jefferson is ridiculous, he probably thnks Prybilla is a tpo 10 C and Roy is a top 5 SG too.
