Oh puh-lease. Don't pretend like you just want to be compassionate towards Pau.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was one of the posters that said, Pau would shrivel up come playoff time and be a non factor.

why do heat fans hate kobe so much? is it because they realize that wade will never hold kobe's jock strap?

That's a good point actually.

I'm a nice guy that likes to see players do well..

KB8MVP- actually..you can look it up, I said Gasol's playoff career with Memphis was meaningless, since he isn't the leader of the star player anymore..

I obviously realize that..

it's a SEVEN GAME SERIES though..Kobe is obviously going to have a huge game at some point..this isn't the only interview..they could have interviewed the best player today, which was Gasol..and then interviewed Kobe in another Lakers win, where he has a great game..he's not going to shoot 9-26 every game..

Manu? why would they interview Manu? Duncan had 40, 15, 5 and 3, including the most memorable shot of the game that sent the game into double OT..
it should have been Odom since Gasol got the half time interview.

I kind of disagree. Kobe had a horrible game, but the shorthanded Lakers still end up beating the Nuggets by a good margin.

Imagine if Kobe doesn't play like crap, or if Bynum and Ariza are healthy.

I do appreciate your afford to get our players some deserved spotlight. But I believe that Gasol won't really care after he got his first win in the playoff!

And to be honest with you, you really think Kobe got media love in the past few years? Not comparing to LeBron and Wade. But this year he and Chris Paul are MVP candidate and so the interview isn't unexpected.

Moreover, he does have like 28 points in the second half. You may argue
that he was not efficient, but he got the job done at the end of the game, especially when Denver cut the lead to like 10 points.

You honestly believed Kobe closed out that game?? The Lakers pulled away when Kobe was on the bench, Kobe came in when the game was over and shot a lot of free throws and kept trying to run iso plays even though the Lakers O was doing good without that. But it's not a big deal, I think it's better for the Lakers in the long run that they performed better without Kobe today.

Nuggets won't beat the Lakers, they may win 1or 2 games if they are lucky. Their style of play is too individual, and they will have to be extremely hot and Lakers ice cold to win a game. Nuggets have no low post prescence, and Karl doesn't command the players respect enough for them to buy into playing defense.

Who complained about it? One guy brought it up to note the Kobe hype machine but of course the Kobe homers have gone crazy over that since.

And imagine if the nuggets hit their FT's at a healthy clip or if Nene were healthy......its all pipe dreams. But for being the first game on the road, I think the Nuggets have put themselves in a fine position.
